The day before our stay, the hotel contacted us to advise that they had overbooked and would be transferring us to another property. Communication throughout this process was poor. We were told several times that confirmation emails would be sent, but these never arrived, and we had to chase the new hotel ourselves to verify the booking, as Oaks Hotels did not follow through.
The location was a key factor in choosing this hotel, so having to replan our trip at extremely short notice was very frustrating. Overall, a disappointing experience due to the lack of organisation and communication.
