One Cool Place is a beautiful, light, warm 3 bedroom 108 m2 Townhouse on the edge of Auckland Central city - bottom of Parnell Rise. Split over 3 levels, with the added benefit of your own internal garage to park your car. A great central pad for your stay, with only a 5 min walk to Spark Arena. 10 min Walk to the Viaduct. Perfect spot for anything happening in the city, Hotel Style very comfy beds with sleepyhead toppers. Newly installed 6 seater SPA Pool.


PROPERTY LAYOUT All the beds are hotel style so very very comfy, you won’t believe how comfy they are, no expense was spared on the beds they will give you a good night's sleep.
Ground Floor Garage - 1 secure car park, photo in the listing Laundry - washing machine (powder supplied), dryer. Outdoor patio area - With Newly Installed SPA Pool, Bedroom with Double Bed, ensuite Toilet and Shower, small wardrobe
Middle level - 2nd floor, open plan kitchen, dining and lounge. Living area has dining table, sofas, smart TV, Bluetooth speaker, breakfast bar, outdoor deck with 6 seater table and chairs.
This room is spacious its deeper than it is wide. Kitchen is well set up with dishwasher, fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle, Nespresso coffee machine and all the usual stuff. Perfect spot for the train spotting
Top-level - 3rd level Bedroom 1: Queen size bed with large wardrobe Bedroom 2: King Size bed that can be made into 2 x singles, bathroom, shower over bath, toilet.You'll also find a drying rack in the wardrobe, clothes
The One Cool Place has a 24hr access digital keypad entrance, which means you don’t need to worry about keeping to any schedules. The internal garage is perfect for a small or midsize car, my Hilux truck just fits in but a big SUV may be too wide but an F-Pace Jaguar does squeeze in. As the downstairs bedroom entrance is past the parked car, a wide car makes it a little tricky, but small mid size no problem. Just drop your passengers off first and then reverse in parking close to the wall which will give you more room to unload your car and get past.

IMPORTANT NOTES * You will experience train noise, I doubt you find this an issue. The property is double glazed so noise is minimal when doors are closed.There are more trains than usual right now due to the closure of the western line for a few months. On Sundays, you may see the old steam train go by your window, which is pretty cool. Train watching is fun - Count how many people you can see, there aren't many. Ask yourself why we have a train service at all. The apartments were repaired a few years ago due to being a leaking building, but are new now. Great location, private garage, and free and easy townhouse, then One Cool Place is your place!!
A small Liquor store is 2 min walk, Petrol station 1 minute, and Restaurants or uber eats are minutes away. There are so many options. Countdown Supermarket is a 10 min walk away. Parnell has some cool shops and lovely Restaurants, Di Mare is very cool to eat at.

44D is warm and in the winter I may have used a heater once. They get very warm from the afternoon sun so can be nice and toastie during the summer but there is a ducted heat pump system now for the upstairs bedrooms for your comfort.The downstairs room is a lot cooler in summer and requires a heater in the winter so pick your room.
This townhouse has 3 levels, and 2 flights of stairs, pack light or have two bags as carrying up one big bag to the upstairs bedrooms will earn you a beer or stay in the downstairs bedroom - next to your car. Nice tree outlook from the main living room deck. Due to the light pollution, the birds don’t know when the morning is so you will hear the Tuis from around 3 am which is pretty cool for an inner city pad, the bird life is pretty cool. Auckland Domain and museum is a 5-minute walk away to the lower domain entrance. There are some cool running and walking tracks in the domain. Parnell Train station is nearby closer than Britomart but it's a little tricky to find

* This apartment is situated within a quiet residential environment, which means there are strict noise controls. Please book a more suitable property if you require somewhere that has less restrictions, this is to eliminate any potential issues or fines. The building is heavily monitored by security and they enforce a $250 fee to anyone causing a disturbance to others.
Off-street parking is very close. Next door is 30 min during the day. There are some spaces in the complex for visitors but they are full most of the time but never know your luck but a 2 min walk away on the Strand there is more free parking even heading into Gladstone road and St Georges bay road is all free parking. Paid car park right next door.
Spark Arena – 6-minute walk, 2 minutes by uber or jump the fence as it’s right next door Airport – 30 minutes by Uber or 1 hour + with traffic. Or take the SkyBus for $17.00 and that takes you to Sky City then uber into Parnell.
Sky Tower – 15-minute walk, a 6-minute drive or $8.00 uber, Auckland Viaduct – 6-minute drive, 20-minute walk $6.00 uber. Britomart Train Station– 15-minute walk. Newmarket -6 min by car, 30 min walk, Uber, Bus, Train or scooter.

Uber’s come in 2-3 mins each and every time I have booked them and being so close to the city just Uber in or walk, Scooters are normally straight outside your door to hire.
K road by Uber $8-10 bucks. Bus or walk Mission bay is 10 min away by car or take the new Tamaki link bus.
The Auckland bus Inner link and Outer link route stops are a 2 min walk away, Using those you can get anywhere in the city or into New Market for some shopping they run every 15 mins up to midnight. 50% off Auckland Buses right now just need a hop card you can get one of those from Wyvern Dairy just up Parnell rise 10 minute walk away.

We arrived late afternoon and found we couldn't fit our car in the garage- that was quite stressful then trying to find a car spot, which we then had to pay for. A couple of times we were able to find a spot in the common carpark, but this was not reliable.Also the train noise was quite significant and went well into the night plus early morning- unfortunately, this meant the stay wasn't very restful.

Cute little townhouse

Perfect for our short stay in Auckland. It is right on the train tracks but we only saw one cargo train in the time we were there and we couldn't hear it. Narrow flight of stairs from the entrance up to the living area, and another flight up to the bedrooms. The car garage is wide enough but short if you have a large car. This was clearly explained in the property description. Short enough walk to the wharf and CBD area.

Parnell Pad

Very nice flat. Had everything we needed and very comfortable. Good location for the price. It wouldn’t ve been nice to be closer to CBD but it would’ve cost a lot more.
