Check in was lengthy, overly complicated and did not support Apple Pay. The elevator/room key system in the hotel made it annoying to visit between the two rooms we booked (had to meet in the lobby since the key would only allow you to select your own floor) and also delivered us to a floor under construction rather than the ground floor when going down for breakfast.
At breakfast, there was one man delivering food that seemed to have forgotten his uniform, turning up in the dining room in shorts and a wrinkled long sleeve shirt with athletic shoes while all the others wore black outfits with white aprons. It just seemed out of place with the rest of the hotel and staff considering the vibe the hotel was trying to put out.
The restaurant was pretty busy and service was slow, so we had been seated about 30 minutes before receiving our food. We finished our food in maybe 15 minutes and were getting ready to leave when a staff member leaned into our table and told us they would be needing our table soon. Pretty rude considering.
On the plus side, the hotel property was very nice and the rooms were well appointed.
