The suite carries the full luxury specification of 45 Anzac Avenue, delivered with a particular understatement. A SMEG oven and cooktop, Miele fridge/freezer, and ASKO dishwasher equip the kitchen. The Illy barista machine is loaded with curated blends. Soho Rose Tablekraft cutlery is set at the dining table, and a Voila iron and JVD Velyss garment steamer are on hand for considered stays — useful for guests attending engagements who prefer not to broadcast where they are staying.

A Rega P1 turntable paired with a Marshall speaker sits in the living area, offering an unhurried, private evening soundtrack. Samsung Smart TVs are available for streaming. The building at 45 Anzac Avenue has stood at the heart of Auckland for over a century and has been transformed, with extraordinary sensitivity and an uncompromising standard of finish, into a collection of luxury suites unlike anything else in the city. The collection comprises eight suites in total, an intentionally intimate number that ensures genuine privacy and exclusivity for every guest — a building philosophy that suits The Discreet Suite particularly well.

The entire suite is exclusively yours — both bedrooms, both bathrooms, the kitchen, and the living and dining area. Access is via electronic key card or smartphone app for seamless, secure entry at any hour, with no need to interact with reception staff or other guests.

Check-in is from 3:00 PM. A member of our team will personally welcome you on arrival, with check-in handled discreetly and efficiently. Please let us know your expected arrival time.

Early check-in and late checkout can often be accommodated subject to availability. A private chauffeur transfer from Auckland Airport can be arranged with at least 48 hours notice — your driver will meet you directly without any need to coordinate through a third party.

While we will leave you in peace to enjoy your time in Auckland, we are available 24 hours a day for an emergency.

BRITOMART — FIVE MINUTES FROM YOUR DOOR
Auckland`s most celebrated precinct

Step outside and within two minutes you are in Britomart — Auckland`s most revered and revitalised urban precinct. Amano, Mr Morris, Ortolana, and Kingi at The Hotel Britomart anchor an exceptional dining scene, while flagship boutiques from Maggie Marilyn, Karen Walker, Zambesi, and Deadly Ponies line the cobblestoned laneways.

The precinct`s intimate scale and varied dining times mean it is equally easy to find a quiet table for two as it is a lively evening out — flexibility that suits guests who prefer to keep their own schedule.

Commercial Bay and the Viaduct Harbour are a short walk, as is the Auckland Ferry Terminal for Waiheke Island and Hauraki Gulf services. Albert Park and the Auckland Art Gallery are a few minutes uphill, and the Sky Tower is five minutes on foot.

Britomart Transport Centre is two minutes on foot and connects the full train network across the city. The Auckland Ferry Terminal is nearby for Waiheke Island and harbour services. Uber and private car services are available throughout the CBD at all hours. There is no dedicated car park with the suite, but secure off-site parking can be arranged on request. Auckland Airport is approximately 30 to 40 minutes by car, and a private chauffeur transfer can be arranged.
We kindly ask all guests to help us maintain the peaceful, high-standard environment of this home by following a few simple rules:

A valid photo ID, email address, and phone number are required prior to check-in.

Please respect our no-party policy and observe quiet hours from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Smoking, vaping, or drug use is not permitted inside the suite or anywhere in the apartment, building, complex or balcony.

In the rare case of a noise complaint or evidence of smoking, an additional fee of up to NZD $500 may apply.

Check in available after 3pm through lock box key collection. Lock boxes are located a short distance away, full details will be sent prior to arrival. We advise collecting the keys on your way to the apartment, if coming to the city via taxi or UBER, ask the taxi to wait a second while you collect the key. The walk to the apartment from the lock box is not far, but no one wants to walk in the city with suitcases!
