Set within the gated Delamore Cove Estate above Oneroa, Kauri Studio is a bright and private retreat with sweeping sea and bush views. Designed for couples or solo travellers, the studio includes a private balcony with BBQ, modern interiors, and fast Starlink Wi-Fi, all just minutes from beaches, vineyards, walking tracks, and Oneroa Village.



The Space:

Kauri Studio sits within the Delamore Cove Estate, elevated above Oneroa with wide views across the bay toward Motuihe Island. The setting is quiet and surrounded by native bush, with natural light moving through the studio from morning through to golden sunsets in the evening.



Inside, the studio is calm and comfortable, with high ceilings, muted furnishings, and large sliding doors that open directly onto a private balcony. The balcony includes a BBQ and outdoor dining space, offering uninterrupted views across sea and sky.



The kitchenette is well equipped for simple meals or longer stays. The studio also includes a flat-screen TV, Netflix, Starlink Wi-Fi, and a washer and dryer for added convenience. The modern ensuite bathroom is light and fresh, and the queen bed is fitted with quality linens for a comfortable night’s sleep.



Guests are welcome to enjoy the shared gardens near the entrance of the estate, a peaceful space surrounded by native plantings. Kauri Studio is one of four self-contained units within the Delamore Cove Estate and is well suited to guests wanting privacy in a quiet setting close to Oneroa.

Guest Access:

Guests have private access to Kauri Studio for the duration of their stay. The studio is fully self-contained with its own kitchenette, ensuite bathroom, washer and dryer, and private balcony with BBQ.



Shared access is available to the gardens within the Delamore Cove Estate, a quiet area surrounded by trees and sea views. The Te Ara Hura walking track passes directly by the property entrance, offering easy access to coastal and bush walks.



Check-in is from 2:00 pm, and check-out is by 10:30 am. Early check-in or late check-out may be available for an additional fee, depending on booking schedules and same-day turnover.



The Neighborhood:

Delamore Cove sits just above Oneroa Village, surrounded by native bush, sea air, and views across the Hauraki Gulf. It’s a quiet, premium part of the island with fast access to everything that makes Waiheke feel effortless.



Start the day with a coffee at Wai Kitchen overlooking the bay or enjoy brunch at Fenice. Cable Bay and Mudbrick Vineyard are only a few minutes away, both known for exceptional food, local wine, and sunsets across the water toward the city.



The Te Ara Hura trail runs directly past the estate, with access to coastal headlands, sculpture park routes, Blackpool Beach, and the village. Oneroa Beach is only a short drive, or an easy walk, ideal for swimming, picnics, and slow afternoons on the sand.



In the evenings, return to the calm of Kauri Studio after dinner in the village or a wine tasting at one of the nearby vineyards.



Getting Around:

Getting around from Delamore Cove is simple. The property is about a five-minute drive from the Matiatia passenger ferry terminal and only a few minutes from Oneroa Village, Little Oneroa Beach, and the island’s main bus routes.



If you’re not bringing a car, buses run regularly from Onetangi through Oneroa and on to the ferry, stopping at all major beaches and wineries, including Mudbrick, Cable Bay, and The Heke. E-bikes and scooters can be hired in Oneroa, and there’s on-site parking just a few steps from the studio for those with a vehicle.
