« 1. We had to spend a few hours before going to the airport and this was a perfect spot. 2. Driving-in is a little misleading as you hit a dead end on the ocean and a narrow left takes you to wide parking lot. Perfect location. 3. The land lady and staff are very nice. Room is very functional. Ocean view terrace is very useful specially when friends visit. 4. Complementary 24 hr drop to either airport is too good. Must stay.»

«Santa Maria is a beautiful gem located right on the ocean. The owners are very kind, thoughtful, and accommodating of their guests. It is very conveniently located near the airport (15 minutes by taxi) and many other attractions Kerala has to offer. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with some offering ocean views and balconies to enjoy the sunsets and watch the local fishermen haul in their catches of the day. «Hotellet bar preg av en viss slitasje, også på det nyrenoverte rommet. Kjøleskap og safe virket ikke, men ble raskt byttet ut/fikset. Servicen var tipp-topp og frokosten deilig. Svømmebassenget er rimelig stort og dypt, og det er gangavstand til stranden i Varkala. Sengene var deilige og rommet haddde flatskjerm-tv med flere filmkanaler. WiFi dyrt, men raskt og pålitelig.»
