First of all… the location is absolutely amazing! The balcony has a nice little seating area and the view is spectacular. It’s quiet and private. 30-45 minutes to Salzburg and all the Sound of Music sights. Mondsee is 20 minutes away, a quaint little lake town, don’t skip it. Attersee is within 5 minutes and has nice eating places, and the best little swimming park and playground. The house has lots of room for bigger groups and would be great for children. Two rooms with king beds, one with a double bed, one with 2 twins and one with a kids bunk bed. Having two full bathrooms is a lifesaver. The bathrooms are recently updated. All the windows open nicely for air flow and there are two sliding doors to the balcony, one from each of the king bedrooms. You must sip coffee on the balcony! The kitchen is well equipped, with toaster, coffee maker, stove, oven, fridge and all the pots and pans/place wear. I recommend the Eurospar grocery store not far away. Gerald likes Billa which is smaller and also not far away. They close early, so check the time before heading out. There is plenty of hot water and a washer dryer. BYO laundry soap. We had one minor hiccup and Gerald was very responsive and had it all fixed up in no time. He is an excellent host, and speaks English well if you need that.
