Unfavorable stay for our anniversary.
I would not recommend this place to anyone. Too many issues to list. Look further and this is not the one.

Stayed 8/11-14 paid $423.75. Upon check in, I requested when pool would be available & was informed 8/12. I requested money off if not available since it is an amenity I paid for, to which Dave Ratia offered $20 off per night. But, first he informed me "There's an ocean" and I shared how unacceptable that statement was. I also agreed & offered to pay full price for rest of days if/when pool is ready. Upon checkout, I told Dave the AC doesn't work. He expressed his lack of awareness of the matter (of any issues with the facility), and wanted to know why i "stay 3 days and now something". Unbeknownst to him, the night of 8/12, multiple guests sat outside their rooms bonding over the many different issues in rooms, almost all complaining of the AC concerns.I did not think the AC would be a continual problem, but was hopeful the pool would help us cool off. There wasn't one time we saw anyone working on the pool, and it was definitely not ready at checkout 8/14. After Dave's unprofessional comments, without holding any accountability for his facility, he began making comments of "you people" and continued insulting me with stating how Im trying to get a free stay & I needed to leave. I informed him that I would leave the office once I've taken all my notes of this experience and obtained all legal information possible to report this. He called the local authorities since I would not leave the cold office with a fan but by the time they arrived I had already left his "office" due

not your high end location, more for budget family or just need a place to rest. mom and pop owned type of location don't expect a lot but other than that great location to all around area.

Don't stay here.
Three words-Don't stay here. Nasty place, smelled moldy, dirty, bathroom was atrocious, rusty pipes and all plumbing hanging out of the wall. Sink so small you couldn't wash your hands without soaking the floor. Could have cried when first seeing the room. A drunk fell down the steps as we went to room. At two AM a loud, drunk, obnoxious woman and her two men decided to be philosophical outside our window. No answer when we called office to complain. Husband wanted to confront them but this is how todays headlines are made so thankfully he didn't. Horrible experience. The only saving grace was the 4 Corners Diner where we had a most awesome breakfast wth the sweetest waitress ever. Went back for dinner and had another wonderful waitress.

Fairly clean and inexpensive. The bathroom sink was falling from the wall. The pool looked like it was filled with green pea soup but we were two blocks from the beach so not the biggest deal.

Dont be mad at the hotel at this price point.
The age of this facility shows very well. The bathroom is so small a small sink is used. I had to turn sideways to get to toliet. No iron, no hair dyer, but did have a good refrigerator freezer and microwave. AC was cold. Definitely a hotel for a budget minded person. It was worth the price compared to other hotels in area.

What an aweful experience. Maybe updated in the 1950s? Very noisy, the entire place stunk. Tiny room. Only positive is the ocean was 2 blocks away. Would not recommend.

The only issues i had was that floor was a little dirty. Its right next to the beach so its expected. The microwave did overheat and turn off midway but after letting it cool off it would work again. Lovely staff and was a really peaceful place.

I will stay at this hotel again, it was noisy inside and out. Could sleep very well, the hotel put a family on the second floor over us with a kid that played with a ball bouncing on the floor I let the hotel know an they wanted me to go knock on their door while he calls them. That sets the stage for problems. The kid didn’t stop and hotel did nothing.

Room smelled like cat pee. No electrical outlet in bathroom. TV did not work. Responded quickly and brought another TV but this also stopped working. Pool was dirty. Manager was very nice.

Keep your expectations reasonable. This is not the Hilton or even Days Inn, but it is a room at the beach within walking distance to tackle box and other things. The bathroom is tiny and there is no vanity.

400 dollar prison life
I’m a US Marine and the room that I was in was worse than my barracks room. Cable Tv no light inside the shower AC unit that only worked on full blast and sounded like a jet engine. Not to mention I could hear every room above take every step they ever took. Walls were all concrete like a prison cell

The room was clean. No bugs and no bedbugs..we checked. Pool was clean. Plenty of towels. Staff was great. the motel is older soo..its not a 5 star hotel but its walking distance to beach and very very affordable. We would stay again. We knew the motel was older so we expected older.

You get what you pay for
Checking was easy. The inn keeper was very nice and friendly. The picture on the website was not at all like the motel actually looked. Not even the same color. It must have been several years ago when that one was taken. The pool was filthy, you wouldn’t want to bathe your pet in it. The pump wasn’t even on to circulate and filter the water. The room was very small but it was clean. Upon checking into the room we noticed the toilet hadn’t been cleaned and a few towels were dirty also. We asked for an extra blanket and was given one with cigarette burns on it.

The AC rattled but worked. The bathroom was tiny but worked. Overall I would say it was okay but it's a no-frills place to just sleep. Don't expect anything else. Staff was nice and room was clean.
