Very peaceful lake nestled high in the Appalachian Mountains. Awesome place to paddle around and enjoy the outdoors. There is a 3.2 mile multi-use trail around the lake to hike or bike on with plenty of views of the surrounding mountains.

«We gave each of our grandkids an 'experience' for this past Christmas and our one grandson wanted to fish the Tennessee River. He and my husband, plus two very close family friends went for a 'guys' trip and they had a blast! The house had everything needed, the beds were comfortable, the dock was right there on the property, and the host was amazing and responded to any questions that we had. «Fantastic furniture! Beautiful decor..such a great little place. Hot tub was excellent. We had been at a rental in Florida that was more ‘bachelor pad’ style so we were SO ready for this place. Plush, cozy-exactly what we needed and the pricing is amazing too. I don’t repeat stays often, because I love checking out new places, but this one was a perfect rental at almost an exact halfway point between home and Florida for me so I might make an exception!»

«Rachel’s Place is a unique cottage, with everything you could need. We happened to occupy the cottage directly during the terrible national storm. Since no one was registered to stay immediately after us, we extended our stay by one day to allow the road conditions to improve somewhat.
