Very peaceful lake nestled high in the Appalachian Mountains. Awesome place to paddle around and enjoy the outdoors. There is a 3.2 mile multi-use trail around the lake to hike or bike on with plenty of views of the surrounding mountains.

«The cottage was on a beautiful property with widows to watch the sunrise from a comfortable sofa or chairs with our coffee . The views are relaxing and worthy of your expenses. River in back had ducks waddling from your windows, or a bench but it was chilly. So cozy and the pictures are true but the experience is much more. Jillian the host is responsive to anything that makes your stay better. Will stay again. »

«We gave each of our grandkids an 'experience' for this past Christmas and our one grandson wanted to fish the Tennessee River. He and my husband, plus two very close family friends went for a 'guys' trip and they had a blast! The house had everything needed, the beds were comfortable, the dock was right there on the property, and the host was amazing and responded to any questions that we had. The lake is so beautiful and the marina just across the way were very easy to work with! Overall, 10! ...

«The property is absolutely amazing. So peaceful! We sat on the little patio and listened to nature both evenings. Even got to hear the donkeys nicker a couple times. We met the sweet gentleman that lives there and talked for few minutes. Was sure to let us know to call if we needed anything. BUT, this is the only time we saw anyone during our stay. Very private.
