The Hampton Inn was very clean and well decorated w/ a "contemporary " look and fresh looking walls, fixtures, carpet and bedding. Very comfortable bed! Nice room darkening features. Although we were on the first floor, it was quiet the first night of our stay. However, the second night we were abruptly woken up by the guests next door to us "slamming" doors shut, laughing and talking loudly. After about 15 minutes I called the front desk and someone did come and ask them to lower their voices. There just didn't seem to be much buffering between rooms and that was disappointing. Decent breakfast, and friendly staff. Nice outdoor fire pit good for evening relaxation.

The hotel is in a great location with easy access to the freeway as well as downtown Asheville. The rooms have been recently renovated and are clean and functional. The breakfast was of good quality and the staff were very friendly. My only observation is that the bathroom sink has a ridiculously short spout, leaving very little room to actually put your hands or a washcloth under it. You end up spilling water all over the countertop. I'm hoping the absurdly short faucet is just temporary while the correct size faucet is on order. I'd hate to think all the rooms were renovated with such a flawed design. Overall, the stay was quite enjoyable. I would definitely stay there again.

I had stayed at this Hampton a few times several years ago. To my delight, it has been uppdated and it was a great improvement. The room was clean, the beds had new mattresses, and the room it’s self had new furniture. As usual the employees were very friendly and helpful.

The only criticism I have of this hotel is the ridiculous placement of the faucet in the the bathroom on the right upper corner of the sink. It barely hangs over the lip of the sink and I’m sure that’s why not much water is allowed to come out of it or the whole counter would flood. We could barely wash our hands or brush our teeth! Not the staffs fault but annoying nonetheless less!!!

I really wanted to give this place a great review. The pool was great. The hot tub was great. Overall, the property is fabulous. The breakfast bar is good. And the dining area is really good. The staff was great. The problem that we had was that we were in a room that had obviously had animals in it. It was carpeted and smelled like dog poop. I have no idea why they would have carpets in rooms that they allow animals. Also, the sinks are ridiculous and the engineer who designed them should be sued. Why in the world would anyone have this sink on their property I will never know. It is the most ridiculous design; there is no way you can avoid getting water all over the counter. And why am I supposed to wash my face from the corner of the sink? It’s surely a sign of the downfall of civilization, in the beginning of a new dark ages.

Fantastic location, the bed was INCREDIBLE!! Breakfast area was cramped and a few minor touchups need to be made but will definitely stay here again.
