"Upon arrival at the hotel, which we had booked via Hotels.com, we were informed that the Hotel was undergoing renovation and not available for us. We were offered another, cheaper (in both terms of the word), hotel, and that we could let the original reservation stay as-is on hotels.com We politely informed them that while we could stay at the other hotel, we would like to cancel the original reservation and pay directly to the other hotel, as it was cheaper and of a lower standard (no exterior windows, for instance). Upon returning home we find that they have refused to return our money"

"I stayed two nights at Alexia Suite. The minute I walked in I was greeted in an absolutely amazing way. A young and hardworking receptionist named Sardor greeted me. I have traveled a lot and have never felt so welcome as when I entered this hotel. Throughout your stay you are treated like a member of the family. Everyone from the cleaning staff to the owner of the hotel radiates an extremely strong warmth. The rooms are modern, large and clean. You can be fooled from the outside, but it is truly an oasis inside. The breakfast area is absolutely beautiful, perfect for Instagram/tiktok. Thank you so much! I will definitely book this hotel again if I return to Bukhara."
