The key card sometime doesn’t work, it happened twice to us and breakfast is everyday the same thing, oatmeal, it would be nice if you will have like muffin or pastries maybe.

The young man that check me in was one of the most polite people I’ve met in Arcata. He will rise to the top and may even own one of these hotels. Super smart and will change the world with compassion.

It's really convenient next to some restaurants and the market. The room has all we need and is bigger than we expected. Overall is a nice stay. If you are a light sleeper, you might want to ask them to give you a room away from the driveway.

The hotel was conveniently located and the room was clean enough. Unfortunately, the check in staff was unfriendly and unhelpful and it was noisy. Also, the amenities were very limited, no wifi and the breakfast consisted of oatmeal packets and bananas.

Our key card didn’t work well, the 1st and 2nd they replaced it but still hard to open the door, you have to swipe it 5 to 10 times, and sometimes not, and the cleaner has to open it with her key card. The bath tub looks dirty because of cracks and chipped paints, they should repaint it so it will looked clean.

It wasn't awful, but wasn't great. Check-in was confusing because the employee didnt communicate about deposits, breakfast, or check out. The room smelled like urine, and it was very cold because the window was open. The carpet felt sticky, and there were no batteries in the remote. When we tried to get batteries for the remote we couldn't find the employee. We also ran into another guest who was just walking down the hall smoking a cigarette.The bed was comfortable, though, so the stay wasn’t completely awful.

Thank you for taking the time to post about your stay here. We do make an effort to ensure all guest needs are met in a timely manner, and apologize that the TV remote for your room did not have batteries. This is a non-smoking property, so is interesting to learn that another guest was smoking in the public guest areas, which is surely against policy. We do appreciate your patronage and look forward to better serving you in the future.

The smell of dog urine greeted us at the door with a $100 damage deposit for damages or smells and it already came with the smell. Then the heater blew cold air, it was warmer with it off. Remote wouldn’t turn on the TV. Hotel employee was rude and “free breakfast” was coffee and oatmeal. It’s sad you can’t get what you pay for anymore.

The room was clean and the bed was comfy but There was a hole in bathroom door and the bathtub was also damaged. My husband was bit by a spider by the bed. The breakfast was very sad and coffee was horrible.

The front desk staff was very friendly and expedient. The place was clean and bright. The only minor problem with our stay was thay cable didnt work. I only wanted it for background noise while i went to sleep so wasnt a huge deal. Overall nice property.

We only stayed one night, but it was quiet and nice that our two dogs stayed for only an extra $10.00 each. Overall, it was a good value. It was close to the airport, restaurants, and grocery stores.

They saw that I was unable to walk very well and with the room that I could afford, it happened to be upstairs. They without asking gave me an upgrade just so I didn’t have to walk upstairs… They’re are the most considerate hotel that I’ve stayed in. God bless them and they’re hotel staff…

This is a very average motel that was conveniently located near our family. Very good value for our budget and the staff immediately helped us as needed. Fresh towels were brought in everyday and garbage dumped. Room was large and bed was extremely comfortable. Carpets were worn and some freshening up could be done. Plenty of coffee served but breakfast consisted of bars and some packaged baked goods. It would have been nice to have bananas or something. Lots of eateries within walking dy
