«My great grandfather was born in the very small town of Aquara and, in planning our trip from the USA to Italy, we were looking for a peaceful, welcoming spot to stay while we paid a short visit to the city. The staff was terrifically accommodating and the property was beautiful. There is a restaurant, small bar and pool on site as well as short walking trail, hammocks and, since they are up on a hill, beautiful views of the valley below Aquara. »

«All in all, it was a perfect choice quality and pricewise. The hotel consisted of two buildings, both of which looked well-kept, surrounded by well-maintained green areas with elegant and comfortable furniture for outdoor leisure and a separate lovely relax garden on a large lawn with sunbeds and a jacuzzi. «Fantastic unique property, great views. Real mix of old and new. Very very quiet and nice to just slow a bit. Rocchina is a great host and really looked after us well, served us an appetiser and breakfast on our balcony as it was our wedding anniversary. Thank you Rocchina! This place is a little sanctuary off of the beaten track. We had a really good night sleep in the cave rooms. »
