Tried to contact hotel to inform that we were delayed on our journey and at the same time order pick up from the airport. They never replied and when I tried to call the contact telephone number on their website , they just hanged up. When I arrived around midnight 24 hr + late at the hotel in a taxi , they had cancelled my booking due to "NOSHOW" !!! An arrogant man in the reseption did not want to hear any excuses and said that I had to take this with Expedia who I booked the stay with.So I had to pay for at night even my booking was already paid. The night manager said he would contact Expedia during the night and we scheduled a meeting next morning at 08:00 am. Next morning he had left!!!! Contacted Expedia myself and they contacted the hotel to solve things. The next day , the hotel had to move a lot of guest to another hotel ( Kempinski ) due to some technical problems...... (On of the staff told me overbooking ) We had a great time at Kempinski and recommend this hotel to everybody traveling to Aqaba. Really friendly and helpfull staff.

A little piece of heaven on earth
Stunning property, excellent service and spotless rooms. I visited all the best hotels in Aqaba for lunch or dinner and I regretted my choice of leaving Al Manara each time. There is not a doubt in my mind which hotel I would choose in the area -most definitely Al Manara! I`ll definitely come back one day!

I sustained a foot injury while swimming at their supposedly clean beach. Despite seeking assistance from the administration office, none was provided. I had to personally take a cab to the hospital for treatment. Surprisingly, there was no follow-up or concern from the hotel staff regarding my injury. Such oversight is unacceptable, especially for a prestigious hotel of this caliber.

Al Manara is the best hotel we’ve stayed at during our Jordan visit and definitely a must stay if you’re ending your trip in Aqaba. We started off in our trip Amman in a “5 star” hotel where the experience was horrible, dirty and old room, and very expensive and frankly bad food. So heading to our last stop we didn’t have much expectation. Boy were we pleasantly surprised! First of all we had no ideas Al Manara was in fact under Marriott hotel brand. It’s actually part of a larger development where it’s situated next to a Westin and more hotels being built right across the way. The service from the concierge to the restaurant staff were all well trained and is comparable to any big city 5 star hotel. They even offered us a 4pm checkout time knowing we had a very late flight. The rooms were spacious and clean and have everything you need. Al Manara also has several pools along with a private beach, perfect for unwinding after driving through the length of Jordan. The food was also terrific! Food in Jordan frankly is a bit hit or miss, same cannot be said here. The food not only was on par with a major city, it’s also very affordable! We happened to be there during Christmas Eve and enjoyed a scrumptious Christmas buffet. And as an added bonus , if you’re a cat lover definitely ask to sit outside. There’s a pregnant mama cat that roams the restaurant politely asking for food, and there’s also many kittens eager to be fed as well (as long as the bossy mama cat isn’t around, the

Al Manara was faultless and impeccable. It was a great stay. The hotel is beautiful, all the staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet delicious and the area where the hotel is located is beautiful. It is also very easy to park in the hotel and walk to explore Aqaba. This is a great place to stay!

From the personal attention of our concierge Karen (Argentina) who was wonderful, always rapidly responding and going the extra mile for us to have an amazing week stay. To the food and attention of all the restaurant staff who always had a smile on their faces and great fresh food. To the room cleaning service who would make our stay special leaving decorative towel arrangements on our bed. To our guide and driver Amar from Discovery Jordan who was amazing and took us to Petra, Wadi Rum and The Dead Sea and brought us a special gift the last day. I cannot say enough nice things about the hotel itself, the management, food, beach, tours, everything was great. I would highly recommend!

This hotel was incredible- we think it might be the nicest hotel we have ever stayed at! The staff were so friendly and helpful, the breakfast and dinner was so tasty and the pools and facilities (including the spa) were amazing. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay here again.

Notre sejour a été une expérience formidable du début à la fin. L'accueil et les services proposés par l'hôtel sont largement à la hauteur ! Les chambres sont grandes et propres et la vue sur le lagon imprenable. Le petit-déjeuner déjeuner ainsi que le dîner sont variés et de qualité. Un gros plus pour le pain au chocolat à la française (que je n'ai retrouvé dans aucun autre hôtel) !

Fantastic hospitality
The service in this hotel was one of the best I have experienced in this region. Truly exceptional from each employee we encountered starting from the check in process. The building will soon need some upgrades and refurbishment. Amenities are ok but the service will make this hotel one of the best in Aqaba.

Nous avons séjourné dans cet hôtel pendant 4 jours. Aquaba a été un point de chute pour la visite de Pétra et de Wadi Rum. Outre la qualité de la chambre et l'emplacement et les infrastructures offerts par l'hôtel, les attentions qui nous ont été réservées par le personnel sont à souligner. Mi è piaciuto la sicurezza, la disponibilità del personale, l’ambiente in se, la vista dalla camera , L’arredamento. Non mi è piaciuto che l’acqua della piscina non scaldata a sufficienza per fare bagno ( 27 gradi sono troppo picchi in inverno anche se fuori sono 25-27 gradi non risulta piacevole. Al ristorante durante l’weekend quando arrivano un maggior numero di ospiti , i camerieri non riescono dare retta a tutti e devi saltare 10-15 minuiti per essere serviti. Il pezzo mi è sembrato un può alto rispetto le altre strutture ma anche per il paese in qui si trova.

What to say! We really enjoyed our stay here, all the staff were super friendly and helpful and we were made to feel very welcome from the start. The pool and private beaches are very clean and aesthetically pleasing. We especially enjoyed the daily bonfire and tea at sunset on the beach. Would definitely recommend! A beautiful and luxurious hotel, with top notch service

Well worth the money
We enjoyed the beauty of the resort, swimming in the lagoon before sunset, eating the fine buffet dinner (including freshly broiled fish and some other seafood) on the patio, the quality of the room, the view of the Red Sea and lagoon from the room's balcony, the gentle cats on the hotel's grounds, the mild northerly breezes in November, swimming and sunbathing on the beach on the Red Sea, and the focused effort of the hotel staff to make the stay perfect.

Praticamente perfetto! La struttura rappresenta perfettamente l’eleganza mediorientale che ti aspetti sia per il personale attento alle richieste, sia per gli ambienti, estremamente curati negli arredi, nella pulizia e nell’atmosfera generale. Sontuoso buffet della prima colazione con qualità estrema di ogni ingrediente e perfettamente serviti. Cena in terrazza, piacevolissima sia per la location che per il menu. Unico appunto: niente candele e intrattenimento musicale dal vivo, che renderebbe la serata trascorsa in questo Resort veramente completa.
