Spacious Cottage in Ohio Amish Country

Enjoy a peaceful visit to the heart of Ohio in this quiet and cozy cottage. The Buss Stop offers great amenities to unwind and relax, including a private porch, full-service kitchen, two sitting/living rooms, and a private covered carport. The Buss Stop is located in quaint Apple Creek, Ohio and is in close proximity to Wooster, OH. We are just a short drive from notable local points of interest, such as the College of Wooster, Wayne County Fairgrounds, The Ohio State University’s agricultural research facilities, and various Amish country attractions.

In addition to the listed amenities, The Buss Stop also has a gas grill (with provided propane tank) and an outdoor fire pit for guests to use.

Family visit
Beautiful quiet area to relax and unwind. Gorgeous property if you’re looking for a place to sit and unwind. 15 minute drive to Wooster where you can find some great restaurants and shops. Nice layout if you have children or a second couple where you need some separate areas. Upstairs bedroom height is a bit cramped and stairs are a little tricky but the overall property is great!

Beautiful cottage
We took our family to the NFL Hall of Fame and had a fantastic experience. We loved relaxing in the countryside and enjoy the peaceful location. This is a beautiful location and id love to stay here again.

Amish Getaway
Paul and Sandy were great hosts. Paul was very friendly and enjoyed our chats. Enjoyed the Amish countryside and enlightened on their way of life. The guys visited the NFL Pro Hall of Fame which was close. Home had everything needed and was peaceful and restful. Loved the blooming of dogwoods and tulips. Would visit again, if in the neighborhood.

Second time staying here and we were struck again with the how well the host pays attention to every detail. Every little detail is thought through with notes and instructions neatly and helpfully provided. We're looking forward to the next excuse to stay again!

Beautiful inside & out
We absolutely loved our stay at The Buss Stop. The property is beautiful and the house inside was perfect. Truly a home away from home. We met the owner, Paul, shortly after our arrival. He was very kind and we enjoyed learning about this Buss Stops history. Thank you Paul and Sandy for providing such a wonderful experience. My sister and I are already talking about coming back later in the year. 😊

The hosts were amazing to work with & responsive!!! The cinnamon rolls waiting when we arrived were an added bonus!! The house was clean & worked perfect for our group - small & cute!! We did find a few bugs, but with the location & time of year, it seemed understandable!

Fall Getaway
We enjoyed our time at the Buss Stop--it was a quaint but updated cottage with lots of history. The loft area was so comfortable and the rest of the house was as well. The kitchen was very well stocked. The location was not only beautiful, but also very convenient to area shopping and eating out. Paul and Sandy were wonderful hosts! We would definitely stay here again!

It's A 10!!!!!!!
An ideal home offering the perfect opportunity for a restful and relaxing stay. A clean, comfortable and well-thought-out home. Other than our own food, there was nothing more we could have asked for: comfortable bed and furniture, plenty of hot water for showers, and a want for not kitchen. The hosts were extremely helpful and easy to reach if needed. Already looking forward to our return visit.

Wonderful!!! Looking forward to another stay. We are fanatics about cleanliness. Was perfect. Cozy and so quiet. Paul and Sandy were sweethearts to rent from on VRBO. So kind and super friendly. Beautiful cottage in the heart of Amish country
Paul and Sandy have a beautiful cottage full of history and grace. The home is a family hierloom that has the modern updates to make your stay comfortable. The cottage sits in a wooded area and the back porch overlooks a fire ring and thier pond complete with a waterfall. The property is quiet and peace ful. Sandy and paul provides many little extras like a smores kit wood for the fire and an outdoor grill.

Private wooded setting, very nice place to stay!
We throughly enjoyed our stay at the Buss Stop. The house was well stocked with everything we needed and exceded our expectations. Lovely quiet location in the woods with a less than 30 minute scenic drive to millersburg and the surrounding area. We would definitely not think twice about staying here again in the future!

The best hospitality ever!
The management provided everything from fantastic breakfast bakery items to matches and smores for the fire pit. Great beds, great lighting furnance worked fantastic and everything in the kitchen you could want! (Including free coffee!)

Excellent cozy house.
We were only able to stay one night but the house was very clean, comfortable, and cozy. They had a gas grill with propane for our use as well as a fire pit with plenty of wood. The owner stopped by the first night to welcome us and tell us to contact them if we need anything. They had snacks and pastries out for us and well as free WiFi and a roku TV. The property is beautiful, especially in the fall. The changing leaves and the lake you can see out the living room window and on the back porch really take this property over the top. I would recommend any couple to stay here. There is plenty of Amish restaurants and stores to visit in close proximity. Love this space!
