«This was an amazing stay! How incredible to have the beautiful Bay in their backyard? There was a trail down to a little sandy beach, with a supply of fishing poles(and worms), inner tubes, a dozen yard games and a beautiful terrace complete with sunscreen and bug spray. The room was well appointed and perfect for our family of five. Sofa beds all have room for improvement, but we all had a wonderful sleep and a bountiful breakfast the next morning. «Staff service was hit or miss. When I booked, Expedia notes sheet change, fresh towel, and house keeping is upon request. So when I arrived, I asked. Front desk person would not give me straight answer. She said ask the cleaning person (what???). I asked what if I don't catch the person. She said ask front desk. My husband asked for change of room because he didn't like the view from the room. She said rooms will be available tomorrow. I asked the next day. A different front desk ...

«We only stayed one night because we were passing through. We were upgraded from a cabin to the lake house for no charge because of a booking conflict, so that was very good for us ! Lake house was very roomy , and had lots of character. Some antique furnishings , a full kitchen and laundry, and even two tubs of locally made ice cream in the freezer ! Mainfloor washroom was way too far away away from the bedrooms for our liking , but that would be our only complaint.»

«We stayed here in early June 2026 for two nights. The location is directly across from the ferry and one block from the Apostle Island Boat Tours. Super convenient to walk to restaurants/bars. The room was quaint with a very small shower, sink area in the bedroom, fridge, coffeemaker, and two comfy chairs. Our bed was supposed to be a queen, but it felt more like a full-size. «The resort was clean and nicely updated however for $260 per night , I would have expected much more. The bed was a small queen that was very uncomfortable built on the with pillows that were flat and hard.»
