«This home was amazing for our family reunion. Everyone had their own bedroom and the kids loved the pool, spa and all the games they had. The arcade game had like 1000 games. The private treed site and fire-pit rock and forest back yard more than offset the older style of the house. What topped it all was the walk through the orchard to the stunning private riverside setting where we spent hours in seclusion and beauty. «After reading reviews about hearing the bar across the street, I was nervous that we would not be getting the quiet weekend away that I had planned, but the music was actually great! «Finding a unique property with excellent reviews in the little town of Rockdale Texas was delightful! This retreat spot is over 100 years old. A comfortable room with king size bed, tv, microwave and frig and coffee maker was all we needed. However, coffee and apple cider and homemade muffins were served in the office. Before dinner at a recommended restaurant, we relaxed on the beautiful lawn in Adirondack chairs. Our only thought was how soon can we get back here for a longer stay!»
