The Corner House is a hidden gem located in the quaint President’s Hill neighborhood in historic Annapolis. New to the market, this suite is a cozy nook nestled on the third floor of this historic house. It is one block from West Street. This area of Annapolis is a vibrant and historically significant area that offers a mix of history, arts, culture, dining, and entertainment, making it a unique and lively part of the city.

Situated just a short walk from the heart of the West Street Arts District, The Corner House is a home away from home. Enter through a white picket fence and onto a covered front porch. This is where you can enjoy your morning coffee and your afternoon tea or glass of wine when you return from your ventures. Enjoy the artwork of local and east coast regional artists that is displayed in the foyer and throughout the home.

Known as “Cunningham’s Retreat”, this loft-style suite boasts both a nautical character and coastal charm. One of three suites in this tri-gabled opulent Hill Street home offers a tranquil and comfortable vacation experience. This beautifully designed and decorated haven has two bedrooms, one bathroom and a kitchen. Includes off street parking for one vehicle.

Moreover, guests will enjoy easy access to a vibrant scene with nearby restaurants, taverns, galleries, and music venues. This location is conveniently situated. It has easy walking equidistance to everything uptown and downtown Annapolis, such as Maryland State House, Governor’s Mansion, Market House, Ego Alley, St John’s College, US Naval Academy, Navy-Maine Corps Memorial Stadium, historic sites, waterfront locations, and parks.

West Street in historic downtown Annapolis holds significant cultural and historical importance. It is renowned for its thriving arts and culture scene. It’s home to numerous art galleries, studios, and performance venues, making it a focal point for visitors, artists, and art enthusiasts. While known for its artistic vibe, West Street also retains its historical charm with well-preserved architecture, including charming row houses and historic buildings. Clean, fully equipped and great walkable access to downtown. Off street parking in rear of building. Hosts very communicative and some nice touches of gift bags and snacks waiting for us to arrive. Very thoughtfully and made for a welcoming stay.

Truly one of the most welcoming experiences I have ever had at a rental. The host was very friendly and accommodating and even left us a welcome present and some snacks. I cannot recommend this stay enough with how thoughtful everything in the house was such as extra cotton swabs to other things you may have forgotten. When I return to Annapolis I will look to stay here again and recommend to my friends staying in the area.

Charming!

Stayed for a full month and enjoyed exploring Annapolis' history, water front and restaurants as well as other nearby towns. Loved the July 4 parade and fireworks, all within walking distance. Such a great location!

“Home away from home”

We book this place because it was close to the Naval Academy where my son did a summer camp. But it was the hospitality of the host that makes it so special. It was clean and very cozy. We would definitely love to stay again if our son get accepted at the academy. Thank you.

Outstanding Host Communication What impressed us the most was how available Jen was throughout our stay. She proactively reached out to check in on us, ensuring that we had everything we needed. Our questions were answered promptly, making our experience seamless and stress-free. Thoughtful Touches The thoughtful touches really made our stay memorable. We were delighted to find snacks and chilled water bottles waiting for us in the fridge. And those homemade cookies? Unexpected and delicious! Our host clearly went above and beyond to personalize our experience. Overall, this Vrbo exceeded all our expectations. Efficient apartment in the heart of everything

This top floor apartment appeared to be recently updated and was immaculately clean. The hosts thought of all the little extras that make a short term rental special. It's located in the heart of annapolis and is easily walkable to soooo many good restaurants and bars. Beds were comfy! The kitchen has some awkwardly angled ceilings, so tall people will need to duck down, but as long as you aren't walking through looking at your phone (like I was), it's totally not a big deal. Even though it is near everything, it's at the end of a residential street and very quiet at night.

All That and a Bag of Chips

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in preparation to participate in the Bay Bridge Run. This gem had everything we could want and more. Extra toothbrushes and toiletries, vitamin C packs, water in fridge, tea and coffee, awesome snacks- including the Berger Cookies! The beds were comfy, individual temperature controls in each bedroom were appreciated and a luxurious huge shower. Hosts were excellent with communication and very welcoming. The location was convenient to all things Annapolis. Don't hesitate to choose property for your stay.

Navy Football Weekend

This property is PERFECT for a USNA event, esp. football. It's located half-way between downtown Annapolis and Memorial Stadium. The house was immaculate, stocked with goodies, and has an off-street parking spot. My husband and I stayed there with another couple and enjoyed leaving our car for the day and walking everywhere. There are a number of steps up to the separate apartment and some funky ceiling angles but added to the charm. The bottle of wine, cookies, fresh apples and souvenir compasses were particularly welcomed. Highly recommend.

Great week in Annapolis

We had an amazing weeklong stay at this house in Presidents Hill! When we arrived, we were greeted by Jennifer so warmly, she made us feel so welcome. The place is so nicely done and felt very clean and inviting-there was such attention to detail, and we felt very much at home. There was a table in the foyer that was filled with fruit and snacks and beautiful flowers! It was such a nice added bonus. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a place in Annapolis!

Awesome Stay in Great Location

Wow! Wow and wow! What a beautiful place. Staying here has really made our trip great and so enjoyable. Rick and Jen were amazing hosts. They really show that they care and want you to have a great experience. They spared no expense on this apartment and paid great attention to detail. It really captures the old Annapolis charm. The place is super clean. The bedrooms are beautiful and the bed I slept in was comfortable. There were ample towels and linens if needed which I consider a plus. They provided fruit and breakfast snack bars in the morning in the foyer which was a surprise. We really appreciated it. I have not been to Annapolis in years and was not aware of this part of historical Annapolis. The area has really developed. The street is so cute and the neighbors were really friendly. Jen & Rick, we wish you luck with your plans and can't wait to see how you continue to restore the home. Also parking was a plus! I wish I could give 10 stars!
