Bear Necessities Lodge is a two-level log home built over a ground-level garage, creating an elevated retreat with a three-story profile from the outside. Nestled beside a wooded lot and greenbelt, it offers privacy and peaceful mountain living just minutes from Angel Fire Resort.
The main living level is reached by covered exterior stairs from the lower deck, providing elevated views and protection from the elements. Inside, the open-concept living, dining, and kitchen areas form a warm, welcoming space for gathering and unwinding.
With three private king bedrooms, a loft with twin beds, and two full bathrooms, the home comfortably sleeps up to 8 guests and works beautifully for families, couples traveling together, or a mix of both.
Large windows bring in natural light and forest views, including a window by the wood stove that frames a peaceful wooded backdrop and upper-level windows that fill the loft and living spaces with sunshine.

The open kitchen is fully equipped and flows directly into the dining area, which seats eight, plus four additional bar stools. French doors open to the wraparound deck for seamless indoor-outdoor living.
Two private king bedrooms are located on this level, each with a Smart TV, dresser, closet, and restful bedding. A full bathroom with tub/shower combo serves this floor.
UPPER LEVEL – PRIVATE BEDROOM, LOFT & BATH
Upstairs, the private king bedroom offers a quiet retreat with forest and peak glimpses, Smart TV, dresser, closet, and nightstands.
The loft includes two twin beds, a Smart TV, dresser, nightstands, bean bag seating, and games — ideal for kids or extra guests.
The upstairs bathroom features a jacuzzi tub (no shower), perfect for soaking after a full day outside.
GUEST ACCESS
You’ll have the entire home and garage to yourself. The only off-limits area is a locked owner’s closet.
OTHER THINGS TO NOTE
WINTER TRAVEL & ACCESS
During snowy months, a 4WD or AWD vehicle is recommended. The well-maintained gravel road and long, flat driveway are regularly plowed after snowfall for smoother winter arrivals.

SECURITY & WILDLIFE AWARENESS
Outdoor cameras monitor the driveway, parking area, exterior stairs, propane tank, and surrounding greenbelt for guest safety and wildlife awareness. No interior cameras.
