We had a decent stay overall at this Quality Inn in Anderson South Carolina. The front desk staff at both check-in and check-out were very friendly and welcoming, which we appreciated. The hotel was also impressively quiet at night — no loud guests or disruptive noise, which made it easy to rest.
There were a few issues during our stay. One evening after visiting family, we returned to find our room door open. I’m confident we had closed it properly before leaving, but the door was a bit tricky and would pop open if not pushed firmly. The “Do Not Disturb” sign was also gone, so I’m not sure if housekeeping entered or if the door didn’t latch correctly. Since nothing was missing, we didn’t report it, but it was still concerning.
Additionally, the shower head leaked and sprayed water in multiple directions during use. The room only had one very small trash can, which filled up quickly, and one arm on the desk chair was broken.
Despite these issues, the stay wasn’t bad overall. With a few maintenance fixes and some attention to room details, it could be a really solid option.
