«My family and I had a lovely stay here. I would recommend it for groups of any age. I felt safe the nights I stayed there alone, and things went well the nights that my daughter and small grandchildren stayed with me as well. Our two dogs loved the location. We were respectful and kept them on leashes outside as there are other dogs in the neighborhood. «The home was comfortable, clean, and had plenty of amenities. From the utensils and spices in the kitchen to fishing poles and inflatables in the garage, 3 kayaks, canoe, paddle boats. It was pet friendly and our dog, like us humans, felt instantly at home there. We are already talking about going back to this location next summer. The access to and views of 2 different lakes was a lovely bonus. We fished, kayaked, had bonfires, watched beautiful sunsets, and made lasting memories.»

«If you're looking for over the top luxury this is not the place for you, but if you are looking for what the chain is meant to be this is the place. Great location, view, and everything you need for a cabin vacation on the lake. I have been coming to the chain my entire life and this house has the exact same feel as my family's old house(still on McCrossen). I would highly recommend staying here if your idea of a chain/lake vacation is 90% outdoors with easy access to the water. »

«We’ve never been to such a quiet lake and I think I said that every day! The row boat and paddle boat were the best things and the most fun for the kids! They both love to fish. We were hoping the lake might have had less weeds and a bigger swimming area with a floating swim pad! »

The owners home is on the property and about 50 yards away, but you can't see it from the cabin. There is a shared pond that is tranquil and beautiful. We brought our highly trained hunting dog with us who was living her best life retrieving in the pond. The property is not fenced, so a shock collar is recommended. «This is a charming little house tucked between beautiful victorians just a few blocks from downtown Waupaca. The grounds are beautifully kept, there is a place to sit outside, there is a restaurant on site in one of the big houses.
