«We love the greek theme and how well designed the hotel is. Staff was nice and helpful!
The location is amazing, in the middle of the old city.
The rituals are very interesting and should not be missed.
What could be better?
- our Bed mattress was too hard and very noisy. Wife would wake up every time I had to go to the restroom during the night.
- swiming pool / jacuzzi was a nice touch, but water was not hot enough
- room is somewhat dark and takes some time to get used to.»

«Matera is a must-see! I would go to south Italy just for this city. And when you’re in Matera, you HAVE to experience living in a cave. That’s why this city is the second oldest city in the world. And if you want to live in a cave, you want to live in Casale di Maria. Because Domenica works there. She is fantastic. Helped us find parking through WhatsApp on our way there, gave us a full itinerary for our sightseeing of the city, as well as recommendations to good places to eat.»

«An absolutely fantastic hotel and an excellent choice if you’re visiting Matera. The rooms are spacious, elegant, and classically designed, while the hotel itself is truly magnificent, with a rich sense of history throughout.
The outdoor area is wonderful, featuring a beautiful swimming pool that’s perfect for relaxing. There’s also convenient parking, and it’s only a pleasant 15–20 minute walk to Matera’s historic old town.
I’d also like to highlight the exceptional service. Every member of ...
