«there was some construction activity on other side of lake that was a bit intrusive of the peacefulness; the one bathroom is attached to master bedroom, so that guest had to walk through master to use the toilet. (minor inconvenience); eating options were at quite a distance, since the grille at the closest marina is closed M&T. I would recommend making this obvious in the listing, but the view was wonderful and I spent the day reading on the porch, which was very relaxing.»

«This home is so beautiful and the view of the lake is breath taking. There was plenty of room for all of us to spread out and have our own space. The beds were so comfortable. The extra oven downstairs came in handy while preparing large meals. Highly recommend this home!»

«Adorable cabin at the end of the lane. Excellent amenities, front porch was where we spent most of or time. Sweet little getaway for a couple or small family in excellent condition. However, it is small; one bedroom doubles as the television room. There are no laundry facilities, and no place to really "unpack." The only dining area is on the porch. «We had a great time on our Spring Break at Smith Lake. The house is beautiful and very well stocked with kitchen essentials and also games, books, puzzles, and even some toys for the kids. We had a couple of beautiful days to enjoy the kayaks and sit in the sunshine on the dock. The host was very attentive & responsive. We definitely enjoyed our stay and hope to return soon!»

«Very comfortable living space with beautiful views of the lake. Host always prompt with replies to questions (very helpful host). Of note, steep incline driving down to the parking area then limited space to turn vehicle around in order to drive back up and out. Rock steps down to property require careful attention to footing especially when carrying luggage.»

«Such a beautiful place. The hosts do everything to make it very nice for their guests…lots of extra touches that don’t happen elsewhere (fresh-baked bread, welcome basket, nice toiletries, etc). The yard is gorgeous. Immaculately kept and so many pleasant seating areas near fires. The kids enjoyed the kayaks and jumping rock. The living areas are all bright, new and fresh.
