We drove to Alex Bay on Thursday , august 15th from the Buffalo area. When we got to our destination, we were early so we decided to have a bite to eat, when we were done , I contacted Tim the same person I talked with back in January, when we booked the place, asking information about where to park and getting into the place. Now mind you never received any email or any other notification from him stating that the place was no longer available so when I contacted him on Thursday, he told me exact words were sorry the place is not available anymore. How can somebody rent a place and not notify you before your vacation is supposed to start that you don’t have a place to go to. He tells me that I will be fully refunded and I better be fully refunded because we never stayed in the VRBO. The worst part was we had to scramble to try and find a place to stay for the four days that we were there so as you can see, our party was not happy. I’ve never experienced this before. I hope this matter can be resolved. I would like to see the money back on my credit card sooner rather than later thank you.
