Could be a fabulous 3* unfortunately its just ok!
Breakfast never warm other than the freshly made omelette Breakfast waiter was extremely helpful Food server/manager on the evening of Thurs 10th he was dreadful, not welcoming or any engaging….we felt like it was a bother to him!

Excellent for families.
Excellent for families, clean place, they have a Resturant with amazing food. Very good location. Free Covered Parking slots are limited and plenty space for none covered parking slots.

Great stay. Not fancy but ticks all boxes.
Great stay and location. Room very clean. Friendly staff. No complaints at all. My only hiccup is the desk tried to charge us 15 instead of 10dhs occupancy tax even though confirmation said 10. Did not use the breakfast. Thanks will return

5 star experience minus the aura
The hotel had all the facilities like steam, sauna, jacuzzi, gym, pool. The buffet breakfast is not very good, lunch and dinner are excellent in the only sea view restaurant. Cleanliness is acceptable and overall it's a good place to be with all the 5 star facilities minus the aura of a 5 star hotel. Everything is unisex, no Seperate men and women sections.

Spacious room & Pathetic room service
The room was quiet good and spacious especially the pool side sea view room. Suggest to carry a soap for ur stay as the hotel don't provide the same. Bathtub didn't have foot plug which is a major drawback. Room Service was pathetic. Just for a water bottle we had to call room service for minimum 2 times and it takes ages for them to deliver. And the last bottle we order, they did not even care to deliver. Suggest hotel management to be more alert on these criteria which can give ur guest a pleasant memorable day.

Not bad for the price
Stayed there for a night as was taking part in the RAK half marathon the next morning. Good price as the nearby hotels are terribly expensive. The location is about 15 mins walk to the starting line. The room was adequate, and clean. Unfortunately, there was Concert going on in the next complex that night, and you could hear the DJ screaming. For a light sleeper, it would be difficult to sleep. There is no shops nearby, so if you are hungry, either order room service, or drive out. Fortunately for me, I packed some food. Overall, not bad.

Hotel with lots of activities.
It's located at the beginning of Marjan island. 3 outdoor and the one for kids is perfect during winter as it's warm. There is a private beach with lots of activities for kids and adults like volleyball, kayak, trampoline and more so you can easily spend a day in the hotel. Good breakfast and near to the hotel a walk with kids activities and a nice hamra mall with good selection of food.

Typical 3 star hotel. In the morning, there was no hot water so I had to take shower with cold water. Also, when I turned on the shower, I saw some yellow water (must be lust) came out for 10 seconds. Staff were very kind and enthusiastic but I would not come back for another stay.

Construction noise & cold shower
Serious construction work going on at the hotel resulting in loud drilling noise almost ALL DAY. COLD shower & YELLOW water. What made matters worse was the indifference of the gentleman at reception desk when I reported it.

Affordable and spacious
We had a wedding in the Hilton but chose to stay at City Stay which was quite convenient. The rooms were quite spacious.

Pleasant stay, a little disappointed
Disappointed there was no swimming pool and only one restaurant in the hotel which was out of stock of most items of food; other than that it wa a very pleasant stay, the rooms were a nice size and clean, full facilities for the apartment

Take your own water with you before you stay there
Horrible, they only provide 2 bottles of water upon arrival, so when I asked for more water the on the second night they mentioned that they provide only once, so they asked me to order from room service, bu room service was closed after 21:00 so I had to take my car drive 30 minutes to the nearest supermarket since their location is isolated, bad service, how much the water cost????

Nice stay at the beach
We spent a few nights here with my family. The beach in front of the hotel is very nice and safe for the kids - silent and relaxing for the others! The rooms of the hotel were very spacy and comfortable. They really seem to have olla the square meters promised on the descriptions. no restaurant at the hotel, but room service will deliver food to the rooms or to the beach.. Nice playgrounds / other sites in Al Marjan Island, but if you wish to go further the car is recommended

We loved our stay (and the kids did too)
Surprisingly nice and clean family hotel. The private beach of the hotel is neat and in very good condition. It is built lately, and there is still some construction sites in the neighbourhood, but everything is in perfect order. We loved to stay in the private small and safe beach with our kids. The hotel serves some small food to the rooms and to the beach. Our room was very big and comfortable. There really are two different bedrooms, separate livingrooms, two balconies and two bathrooms as promised in the description! We asked for a baby bed from the reception and it was delivered immediatly. The room was cleaned while we stayed at the beach and it was again in perfect condition while we returned. The kitchen is equipped with all the necessities we could expect, and there is enough room to cook if it is wanted. The area itself is freshly built, everything seems to be new and modern in Marjan Island. If you to go to the other places (like Ras Al Khamai city etc.) the car is preferred. In Marjan Island there are some restaurants located in the hotel resorts, but there is more in the city - especially with more local twist. In the hotel City Stay Beach there is no restaurant, but you can order some simple food or breakfast to the rooms and to the beach. Wifi works very smoothly in the rooms, and the staff is friendly. We had a few issues with the keycard reseting itself in every now and then.

Goed hhotel voor een paar dagen.
City stay hotel is een prima hotel in de buurt van de Al Hamra mall . Wij hadden een 2 bed room appartement en dat was zeer netjes. Uitstekende bedden en ruime badkamers. Het hotel strand is klein.
