Due to being a small tropical island in the middle of the South Pacific with only one telecommunications company, wifi is considerably more expensive than in a large metropolitan county with competitive telecommunications market. However we do price match the local monopoly telecommunications and have the best wifi service available in Aitutaki. We do offer special rate plans that include free wifi. Part of the resorts progressive and comprehensive complete refurbishment of all aspects of our resort includes many public areas and also the gym. Regarding the damaged "ghost units" near our reception area, these are not damaged units. They were relocated from their original position and are awaiting reconnection. The delay of the ship meant work had to halt meantime before work could commence and thereafter can be put back into inventory. We understand that lighting on the property needs improvement, particularly for night walks. We are pleased to advise the lighting has arrived and will be installed prior to reopening.While we strive to provide a wide range of amenities for our guests, we understand that our offerings may have been limited during your stay due to us completing upgrades. We will review our equipment maintenance procedures and ensure that all kayaks are in optimal condition. The safety of our guests is our top priority, and we apologize for falling short in this regard.Our culinary team works hard to provide a variety of choices for our guests, and we regret that the cooked breakfasts were not to your liking. There is an option to choose not to have your room serviced by our housekeepers and receive a 20 per day rebate against your room account that can be spent in the bar, restaurants, spa, gift shops etc. at the Resort. We also acknowledge your feedback about the speed of service at the restaurant. We recently welcomed a new chef to our team, which may have contributed to some delays in service. You would be pleased to know we have a new chef arriving this week.
