The host was very nice, the Airstream was very CLEAN and nicely decorated. No issues with that. However, I asked for a phone# before check-in in case I had any issues. And was never given one. I've booked on VRBO many times in the past, and the host ALWAYS gave me a phone #. I understand privacy and all, but if someone is booking from you, it's nice to have the security in a quick reach-out. I had to download the VRBO on my phone to be able to message her. Cuz I didn't have my laptop with me. Not everyone wants to have to message strictly thru the app. Also, there were no instructions on the tv's. I never did figure out the front tv in the eating area. And it took me 30min to figure out the tv in the back room. (some instructions on that would be nice for future folks) There was no running water the morning of check-out, due to some water outage in the area. Obviously not the fault of the owner, but still. (wouldn't have dealt with that at a hotel) The back bed is hard as a rock. So just be aware of that. I chose this, so my 8yr daughter could have a "camping" experience. However, in hindsight I wish I had just gotten us a Hilton hotel stay. We would have paid much LESS, with a comfier bed, more space, and running water in the AM. I guess if you BADLY want an airstream experience, then go for it. But, gosh, so spendy in my opinion. And altho, you have a fence on both sides for privacy, it's not in some pretty location. So just don't expect a "campground pretty nature" area.
