This was the most disappointing stay I’ve ever experienced. My sisters and I booked a “penthouse suite” advertised as 2 bed/2 bath for a wedding trip, but the unit was completely misrepresented.
The space was extremely dark with little natural light and felt nothing like a penthouse. The bedrooms were so small we couldn’t fit our luggage, and the layout was cramped enough that I aggravated a pre-existing knee injury. It’s also inaccurately listed—it’s only 1.5 baths.
There was a strong mold/sewage odor throughout. The shutters were broken (one wouldn’t open, another wouldn’t close), and due to wind, heavy curtains even knocked over a vase. The toilets were also clogged during our stay.
We reported these issues multiple times. A staff member, Johnathan, acknowledged the problems, but nothing was resolved. Communication was poor and misleading—we were led to believe help was coming, but it never did. Instead, we were told to pay extra for another room.
The final issue: we woke up on the day of the wedding to no power and no running water.
Due to misrepresentation, unsanitary conditions, and lack of resolution, I am seeking a full refund. I would strongly advise others not to book this property.
