One of the oldest hotels in Abu Dhabi. Our lovely Queen of kindly was there at its opening. Hotel staff is friendly but you would come across some weird staff members who said oh! You can’t take your drinks which you bought in the hotel to the hotel’s beach. They would force you to buy the same drink! I was like I paid for for my ginger ale in the hotel, and I can’t sit in the sun with this drink ? It wasn’t even alcohol. They don’t appreciate that it’s a 5 star hotel and you can’t talk to people like this! Bathrooms needs an upgrade, if you shower, there’s guarantee to have water out of the tub. No shower curtains and the glass partition is too small!

Het personeel was erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam (Nezam van de schoonmaak, N. Khan van het ochtendbuffet, Adjai van de beveiling en de dame die de gasten begeleide bij het ochtendbuffet). Hotel ligt op loopafstand van Abu Dhabi Mall, een pluspunt. Hotel voor de toekomst zeker weer een optie!

Das Hotel ist sicher kein 5 Sterne Hotel. Die Einrichtung ist deutlich in die Jahre gekommen und wirkt etwas "abgeranzt". Es standen nur zwei Aufzüge zur Verfügung wovon einer die gesamte Zeit außer Betrieb war. Die Lage in der Stadt ist super, der eigene Pool und der eigene Strand ebenfalls. Die Abu Dhabi Mall ist fußläufig zu erreichen. Trotz der Abstiche hinsichtlich des Renovierungsbedarfs, kann ich das Hotel für Einzelreisende und Familien empfehlen.

Noisy, overbook, old and not value-for-money
We stayed in 201 and had to move because of a very noise family until late in the evening. Other guests also complained about. Room 201 also had an issue with the air condition as it was not cooling well and made noise as well. We then got room 525 and had neighbours who partied until 2am. So we did not get proper sleep the two nights we stayed in the hotel. In addition we had to wait for our breakfast each morning, we had to ask for an extra bed 6 times before it was delivered etc. The hotel seems old and was clearly overbooked, and overbooked is a big issue when you also only have one elevator working, which is also used by your staff. All-in-all a bad experience and we honestly want a refund as it is not reasonable to pay for such a bad experience.

Unfortunately, this surge in occupancy resulted in some disturbances, and we deeply regret the inconvenience caused by the noise from neighboring guests in both room 201 and room 525. Please be assured that we have addressed these concerns to prevent similar issues in the future.We also apologize for the issues with the air conditioning in room 201. Our maintenance team is working diligently to resolve the cooling and noise problems, and we appreciate your understanding.Regarding breakfast delays and the delayed delivery of the extra bed, we acknowledge our shortcomings in providing prompt service, and we are taking measures to improve our service efficiency during busy periods.We apologize for the inconvenience caused by the temporary elevator situation. Our maintenance team is actively working on resolving the issue, and we expect to have the elevator fully operational soon.While we understand your disappointment with the overall experience, we regret to inform you that we are unable to provide a refund due to the unique circumstances surrounding the high occupancy during the EID holidays. Super hotel, made even better by superb staff. Every single member of staff I came across was excellent and genuine in their friendliness. The house keepers would always say good morning when they see you. Breakfast was great. Well organised and lots of variety. Swimming pool area is nice although gets busy.

I did not like the shower. Very dangerous to get in and out without slipping. The shower enclosure design results in water splashing and running all over the floor. I would seriously consider not using this hotel again because of the bad shower set up, which is a shame because the hotel is great, so are the staff!!!

We had an excellent stay at le meridien abu dhabi. The staff is extremely friendly, especially the staff at the pool. The pool is heated which is a big plus when travelling with kids. The pool area and the sunbeds are perfect. The hotel is perfectly located as well. A big thank you for Prince for making our holiday even more memorable.

Sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal. Herr Nezam vom Roomservice hat unser Zimmer jeden Tag sehr ordentlich gemacht. Auch großes Lob an die Mitarbeiter vom Frühstücksbüfett, sehr freundliches immer zuvorkommend. Das ganze Hotel macht einen sehr sauberen und hygienischen Eindruck. Das Fitnessstudio bietet in allen Bereichen des Trainings Möglichkeiten sich ordentlich auszupowern.

Pleasant enough...
Please note that this review is for Radisson Blu, Abu Dhabi where my booking was transferred. All staff in the restaurant and Executive lounge were very professional and helpful. Special thanks to Christian and restaurant managers. The food was amazing, plentiful and varied. Even when breakfast service was extremely busy, the service was very effective and food remained hot. The beach and pool area were beautiful and well-maintained. It was lovely to see Grant, a lifeguard from Le Meridien working poolside. Pool and beach are accessed by subway just outside the hotel. The number of steps could cause problems for those with disabilities. I visited Hemingway's bar at the back of the hotel. It was nice to sit in the beer garden, even late at night. Again, service and atmosphere were very pleasant. The only downside about my 3 night stay was the attitude of several of the staff on front desk. They tended to be unhelpful and argumentative; not just with myself but at least one of guest over my stay. I had booked an executive room at Le Meridien, but I was clearly in one of their premium rooms. It was nice enough, but clearly did not match pictures from Radisson Blu's website.
