«Koselig hotell i American River. Hyggelige ansatte og rene rom. Vi ankom rundt 19.30 og klokken 20 stengte matservering og like etter resepsjon. Vi fikk bestilt god mat til tross for det nærmet seg stengetid. Det kunne med fordel vært opplyst om stengetid på hotell og restaurant under informasjon om hotellet. Kaldt på rommet da vi ankom, men god AC. Mulig varmere på rommet på sommerstid da vi var der på vinterstid.»

«Quick overnight on the way to the ferry. Matthew gave us local maps and great suggestions for eating and viewing wildlife as well as local sights»

«We stayed at the property for 3 nights with kids and it was great. Step out of the property and there’s the Esplanade. The owner had thankfully stocked jam, milk, vegemite, cereals etc as well which was very handy - there was always food when the kids got hungry at odd hours and most places were closed due to Easter long weekend. Highly recommend! »

«Nice place to stay. I had a little cottage which was very basic, but it had everything I needed for a 2 day stay. The only annoying thing was that the bed was on wheels so it moves around a lot on the hard floor.»

«John was an excellent host and the feeding of kangaroos and iguana was an absolut highlight for us.The house is a little remote (9 km from main street) but it is an incredible experience to be that cöose wirh the animals! We‘ve loved it!»

«Tolles ursprüngliches Farmhaus in sehr gutem modernen Zustand mit allem, was man braucht. Die Tiere auf der Farm sind lustig, vor allem, wenn man sie mit dem bereitgestellten Futter füttert. Ein zahmes Reh, das das Schaf zur Seite drängt, wenn es um's Fressen geht. 😁. Das weiße Alpaka zeigt dem braunen, wo's langgeht 😂. Tolle Erfahrung für uns Stadtkinder.»

«Fabulous place to stay the apartment is close to the ferry (walking distance) and Penneshaw amenities and looks out over a lovely little marina and the ocean Couldn’t have asked for a better place and the owners were great »

«Plenty of room. Good kitchen to cook in and washing machine available. Untidy yard at back and side of house . Mounds of dirt and rocks left in piles . No railing around wooden decking.»
