"The place was impeccable and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious with good variety to suit everyone. The grounds and location couldn't be nicer if you just want to relax. Not a whole lot of commerce or restaurants around. There was a big supermarket a 5 minute drive away. My only issue was with the front desk not being open after a certain time, it said to call the hotell if arriving after 16.00 so we arrived earlier hoping to check in and go out to enjoy the day, but the guy at the front...

"What a find, great setting close to Sandviken. Next to a pond and a weir by the side to power the old mill. The breakfast was the best I have ever had."

"Otydlig skyltning och ett märkligt sätt för incheckning. Nyckeln till entrén var i en box utanför med kod, som frös ihop under kvällen när det snöat, fick kämpa i nästan 30 minuter med att hacka fram dosan sen försöka snurra till koden var inte lätt, tur att man är hantverkare och väl försedd med verktyg i bilen, fick börja med att ta fram hammare och mejsel för att hacka loss isen sen bryta upp locket, måttlig roligt mitt i natten med sånt här, frusen och lite irriterad lyckades vi till sist...

"Loved my stay here. Lennart was fab and really helpful. It’s in the countryside with views across fields. It’s also a 10 min walk to Hogbo Bruk, which has a great restaurant, ski trails and lots of activities you can do in any season. Getting to the place without a car is tricky but Lennart’s daughter Annie picked me up from the station, which was really appreciated. I left feeling relaxed and rejuvenated after a nice weekend of cross country skiing"
