«It was beautiful, and clean. The staff was very friendly and loved the complimentary coffee and baked goods. The design of the room was great. Very safe neighborhood and a solid 15 minute walk into the waterfront area. I would definitely stay here again.»

«Historic, but updated and well-maintained property. Great restaurant with excellent breakfast. Appreciated the added touch of providing the history of the facility and surrounding area. Lovely lakefront site with seating around the property to enjoy the view. The only slight minus was that my room in the southwind building was right next to the road, but very little traffic at night, so not a big issue. Would probably select a different room next time.»

«I wasn't sure what to expect of the Seymour Lake Lodge when I booked it on Hotels.com. Was I pleasantly surprised! It is an old converted farmhouse, with tons of character, and all the modern conveniences. The room was adequate and comfortable, the view of the lake was stunning, both from my room, and the large front porch! A huge yard for walking my dog. Had lengthy conversations with the property manager and another guest. One of my most memorable stays.»

«This is a lovely old Inn. We found that there was not good lighting to read in our room and just one chair. As the weather was poor It would have been nice to spend time reading. Ther is a couch downstairs that we could have used. »

«This was a charming inn in the countryside of Vermont with beautiful mountains and valleys. Excellent location in the Mad River Valley to explore the small towns surrounding it!! Historic charm and very accommodating hosts. Friendly service. They are very Informative. Great breakfast as a bonus!! We would definitely recommend and would go back. »

«Great view off the deck with a late afternoon glass of wine. When the sun went down and temps dropped we moved into the charming rustic charming great room. We particularly want to thank Hannah for moving breakfast up a half an hour, so that we could get to the UVM graduation on time. She went out of her way to give us a full breakfast, on short notice. »

«We enjoy non-chain hotels. We are low-fuss people. The Hill Farm Inn is a beautiful property with comfortable public rooms and cozy private rooms. The receptionist was pleasant and friendly and helpful. We like that it is away from town and shops and busy roads. »
