«I could hear the seals barking the moment I arrived. This house is one block from the beach. I didn’t get a chance to use all of the equipment in the garage, bikes, kayaks, boogie boards, games, etc. the focus of this trip was to go explore the Channel Islands. The location was very convenient to get to the ferry dock in Ventura. There were also some really good restaurants near by. There were three bedrooms which gave us plenty of room for 6 of us.»

«The apartments are the best thing about the stay. We only stayed one night and the 4pm check in and 10am checkout made this spot hard to like. No bag drop or consideration made. Tiffany was pleasant the other staff working desk was had a very unpleasant time dealing with. Quite time (10pm-8am told by staff and 10pm-7am posted in the room) also limits the ability to fully enjoy the patio or jacuzzi. Bed and towels leave a lot to be desired. »

«Beautiful property in idyllic spot. Staff were very accommodating. Just a lovely spot to spend the day. Many reviewers fixated on the age of the property and signs of wear. "I don’t recommend to stay at the Motel. It was terrible. We needed to change room two times, First because of a very bad smell, and second because of ants. The smell got better in the next two rooms, but not good. "
