«From the moment we arrived we were impressed! Noel greeted us and showed us around the property and we felt instantly welcomed and relaxed. There has been a lot of attention to detail including home made food in the fridge and pantry and the fluffiest robes ever. The cabin was in pristine condition and the local kookaburras kept us company each morning.»

«We like this Motel having stayed previously and will stay again. However, this time we arrived after hours on a public holiday. We looked forward to making a cup of tea but had no milk. We had a friendly text message from Peta earlier in the day advising of our unit number and key location. It was a surprise to read of their “Contactless Protocols” indicating no contact with staff available 😧»

Megan and Brett were lovely and very helpful with things to do and places to go around the glass house mountains and beyond. My partner and i also loved all the walks, climbs and waterfalls all only 25 minutes or less away from Crookneck Retreat.»

«The property itself is beautiful and quirky which we loved. The kitchen train carriage is also great and it's a wonderful area to stay in. Breakfast was OK, but very basic. Our main issue was privacy - which varies depending on the room you're in. This was not accurately described in our opinion and we were disappointed to discover our bedroom faced directly onto a shared verandah. We had other guests right outside, literally 2 metres from our bed - and with very thin verandah doors and ...
