«The property is old, needs updating. Some staff is rude to non white people specially the male greeter and waiter at the Pub. He was rude and made unwanted looks and gestures while we were at the restaurant. We called front desk to pick up our bags 3x to go to the airport. They never came so 15 minutes before our departure, we brought it down ourselves. »

The grounds are extremely well kept and the staff was both gracious and helpful (explaining how to get around the island and destination recommendations). Only negative I could find was that it's not really walkable to any sort of nightlife other than an an excellent spot for breakfast so you'll need to take a taxi (20 bucks each way which can add up quickly). «We stayed in garden Villa with our own pool. We had a great view of the sea for sunset. Place very friendly and accommodating. You could walk to Soufriere town and to the beach, though very steep. They arranged a bespoke trip for us which was great. Sugar beach a short cab ride away is amazing for snorkelling and swimming. Food was very tasty, we would definitely stay again. »

«Great value for money, and a very relaxing resort where you have everything at hand. One draw back was difficulty to get cash out, so we were very dependent on the resort for our week there. Any other experiences (like snorkeling, boat taxi, taxi, tours of any kind) require cash, so be sure to get it at the airport! Staff a little bit unfriendly, but very clean and comfortable. The beach did not have good snorkeling, but other beaches around are accessible from the resort (if you have cash). »

The views over the surroundings stretchibg towards Rodney bay are wonderful. 10 minutes drive to Rodney bay with abundance of shopping area, convenience stores, 12 minutes to Gros Islet for the Friday Street Party.
