We had a great time as a family and no problems or concerns whatsoever. It's a beautiful property and the beach area is perfect. «This property was beautiful, and peaceful. I was only able to stay for a few days but I was still able to experience how warm and welcoming the entire staff was. The food was also amazing, one of the best that I experienced at an all inclusive resort. Everything was flavorful, which is exactly how I like it. The resort had amazing bartenders as well. When I come back to Jamaica I promise to stay at this resort again. My friend and I had an amazing time.»

«Great overall experience. Lots of things to do on the compound and around the area. The daily events are so much more with the bangs and musicians. Karaoke was so much fun. There are things to do for the adults Abe also for the little ones. A separate kiddie water park was a big plus. More than enough places to eat, food was good. The staff and hotel personnel’s are really friendly and nice. Rooms are big and spacious. Definitely would give an A.»

«There is nothing good to say about this place. They stole our money. Due to Covid we had to postpone our trip. They told us we can rebook at anytime. Now, after travel restrictions have been lifted, no one is available to help us. We are first responders that need and deserve a vacation. Thieves! »

«We choose RIU because we also used them twice in Cancun and in Punta Cana and were very happy with them so there might be better hotels but why chance it. Staff is always amazing, food is delicious. I highly recommend RIU any place you travel to. »

"Overall nice, somewhere between resort and hotel. But look on Expedia, not their own website! Family of 4, with 2 kids (aged 4 and 7) Pros: Doctors Cave Beach is very nice, with good snorkelling. Good food, with plenty of options. Nice pool and hot tub. Nice rooms. Pool table, gym and chess board. Cons: Don’t trust their website… There is no kids club / kids room. There are some activities for kids on some days, but they might or might not happen. There is a schedule of activities, but less than half actually happened. Kids excited for dance lessons, but the instructor never showed. Same for other activities. And no one could tell us in advance if they were happening. Website also talks about several restaurant. There is only 2. The main buffet, and a grill open from 12-17. Pluss a café for some cakes/fruits. There is no Italian restaurant as advertised. Also, there is a road between the hotel and the beach. Not really a problem, but they give the impression that they are on the beach. You only get a free pass to use Doctor Cave Beach daily. Overall it was a nice stay, but as kids club/kids room was one of the reason we chose it, I can only give 3 stars. "
