«This is a beautifully appointed little suite! It was very comfortable and had everything I needed- cozy furniture, coffee, snacks including breakfast oatmeal, toiletries, and lovely towels and linens. The walk-in shower had good water pressure and everything was very clean and fresh. I’d stay here again every chance I could! Many thanks to the hostess 😊»

It was clean and modern, offering a great view of the nearby lagoon, Seward boat harbor, and mountains of Resurrection Bay. If you are in town and in need of a place to stay, you can’t go wrong with this one.»

«My husband and I stayed at Cabin on the Lake while in town for our daughter’s dream wedding. It was minutes from restaurants and shopping in Palmer and Wasilla. The view was spectacular and the cabin was the perfect size for us. My husband dozed off on the sofa one afternoon and commented how comfortable it was. «Very nice place to stay. Hosts are very kind and bake-good were made and left for us during the stay. The place is the bottom floor of the hosts house, and you can hear the hosts walking around upstairs (but it wasn’t super loud). The only thing I wish they had were curtains for the windows. In the spring and summer in Alaska the sun is up most of the day and night, and not having curtains and just blinds, the apartment was very bright all the time and hard to sleep/stay asleep.»

«While the surrounding properties were typical in Fairbanks, the accommodations at North Star were great. The owners were attentive, reaching out throughout my stay, to make sure all was well. «It was a nice quiet cabin experience. However, I was not aware the owners lived downstairs prior to renting, so that was a surprise. The place was very clean and had a really great vibe about it with all the wood paneling and taxidermy / mounted antlers and animal skins everywhere. »
