«The Shores was an amazing property to stay at. So close everything. The private beach was on the smaller side but still perfect with larger public beaches very close by. «I think it’s great to see the renovation of downtown Sandusky. We used to be here often raising our family on the water. Only ding is it’s next to a public park that motorcycle traffic and revving of engines is very common and noisy if you expect quiet getaway. We expect to revisit as often as possible. 👍👍👏👏»

«I make frequent trips to the area for wildlife photography, this one for the Biggest Week. I have stayed at a variety of VRBOs located at the Green Cove Resort. This has been the best and most cleanly one yet. Check in is easy and the hosts have provided everything you could need from snacks and bottled water to keurig coffees, condiments, board games and more. «We routinely visit the area for bi-annual, medical treatment and this location is convenient for many restaurants close enough to walk to. Gated parking, right off the water. Spacious, roomy, and quite. The check in process is intimidating at first, but the owners give an easy to follow, step-by-step process that is easy to master. «Ideal location right on the lake. Short walk to the ferry to Cedar Point. Amazing workout room and outdoor pool. Easy walk to all of downtown Sandusky with amazing food and entertainment options. «The island in general and the property in particular were great! Everyone on the island was extremely friendly and polite. Charles was extremely proactive about communication and responsive, the check in process was smooth and easy and the property managers provided plenty of detail about the logistics of getting to the property.
