«The Yellow House is a wonderful B and B for a relaxing weekend. The owner is very conscientious and his breakfasts reflect that. There was always hot coffee available in the mornings and snacks, including home made cookies, during the day. The house is very clean and well kept. Our bed was a little small and therefore, I found it hard to sleep well. The next time we stay here I would request a room with a larger bed. I would definitely return for a weekend here. »

«Easily accessible from paved rural roads, 8 minutes from Cosby entrance to GSMNP. Numerous cabins fairly close by; privacy good, but you'd probably wait until dark to use the nice little hot tub. Very comfortable and well equipped; very clean except for a few pet hairs in the bath mat. We were not big fans of the funky sinks, they aren't very ergonomic.»

«The lady who owns the motel is so so nice and inviting! There were vacant rooms during our stay, so she let my husband and I upgrade to a room with one king size bed vs 2 queen beds. Every time we saw her she asked if she could do anything for us. They also have their dog at the property (they live on site) and she’s the sweetest, friendliest dog ever!!! The rooms were also very, very nice and cozy. Would highly recommend!»

«This is a wonderful choice. Close enough to I 40 but secluded. Even though we arrived late due to work, Denise came out to say hello and give us a quick tour. It was just cool enough that after a quick hot tub soak, we used the wood stove to get cozy. We would go again and it was perfect for the 1 night reprieve that we planned.»

«We had a nice, cozy stay at this cabin! The hosts were very responsive and helpful. The local guides they provide were great, and the Wi-Fi worked well in the cabin for us. It is a little bit of a drive to Asheville or the surrounding areas, but it’s doable. The path leading up to the cabin is definitely easier to navigate before dark, but overall we had a good stay!!»

«My husband and I had originally planned to stay 6 nights. As soon as we saw the property we added 2 more nights (thankful they were available)! It is a perfect mountain retreat! The cabin is cozy, comfortable, and very pretty. We like to cook and we had everything we needed. Love the Maggie Valley/Waynesville area so much we are hoping to retire there soon.
