«This was the perfect property to stay in while we visited Mammoth Cave. The beds were comfy and plenty of room for playing games at night or watching a movie. If the ferry is open its a quick 25 minute drive to the caves. Our first night a big storm hit and the ferry was closed all week, so we had a 50 minute drive to the caves, but enjoyed the drive each day.»

«My family had a great time at this property. Unfortunately we weren’t able to kayak since the army dams the lake in the winter. While this was unexpected, we made the most of it and walked the dry lake bed quite far and my family was able to find some fishing spots. The cabin was clean and had what we needed. The back deck was a great place to read my book and kids liked the bonfire in the evening. We would stay here again but make sure the lake is there!»

«My boys and I were looking for a nice place to go and get away from memorial weekend. The house is located close to the lake. We were able to rent a boat and have a nice day on the lake Saturday and then come back to a relaxing house for the rest of the weekend. We dealt with several severe storms. The owner was kind enough to reach out to us while we were on the lake to let us know that we were out of power, and that it should be back on soon.»

«Great family retreat. The cabin was very clean and well maintained. The listing was very accurate and well described. We were close enough to Mammoth Cave to partake in a day of hiking, but far enough away to enjoy the peace and quiet of relaxation. «The cabin is amazing and worked great for our weekend trip!! Plenty of space, very clean, stocked with indoor and outdoor games. The screened in porch is fantastic for hanging out in the evenings. Melissa the host was great and communication was excellent. I would highly recommend to anyone traveling to the area as a place to stay.»

«A great place to stay for the weekend. We loved feeding the animals next to the cabin and kayaking. We loved the dogs visiting (Lola, Charlie, and Bo). Everything you could need to cook was available. We made use of the fire pit in the back and made our dinner over it using the grill.»

«My husband and I planned a stay with our girls and both our dads to make some memories. We found this amazing cabin and booked right away. It was even nicer in person than described. Only about 30 minutes from mammoth cave. They had plenty to do in the cabin when it rained and we all got to enjoy the hot tub post our hikes. We enjoyed competing on the shuffleboard table as well! If you are staying in the area, choose this house, you will not be disappointed.»

«Great house that was inviting and felt like home. Kitchen was well equipped, nice with granite countertops and plenty of counter space. Large lawn for kids to play in with a creek/ravine behind. The only difficulty was there is no interior dining room. The only large table is out on the screen porch but it was too cold for us to eat out there in March. Overall though we were quite pleased with our stay.»

«Communication with the owner was excellent, the best I've had with a VRBO rental. The property is brand new and was well suited to 4 adults and 3 elementary school aged kids. Location was good, but it is a 50 minute drive to the National Park.»

«The cabin was spotless, with everything we needed. I was even able to catch up on all our laundry before heading home. Our pup loved the lake and running at sunrise with me around the property. The kids loved the loft and want to come back to enjoy the lake when it’s warmer.»

«Our family had a very nice 3 night stay. The weather cooperated as much as we needed, and the large covered deck helped out when the weather couldn't contain itself. Mammoth Caves are a very short drive, and the drive to Bolling Green (for the Corvette Museum) was beautiful. The owners of the property could have been more helpful, and responsive.
