Helt greit hotel i nærheten…
Fint og rent hotel litt utenfor kjernen av London. Herlig å slippe tepper på rommet! Rommet var romslig og hadde en fantastisk seng. Minuset var en ekkel lukt, upraktisk interiør + manglende garderobeskap

5 dager i London
Har dag vært for første gang i London og med så mange hotell er det jo veldig tilfeldig hvor man velger å bo. Ok jeg valgte dette hotellet litt utenfor hva man skal kalle det største turist området. 13 minutt fra Viktoria stasjon kor jeg kom til da jeg tok Gatwick Express toget begge veier. 200 meter å gå fra Aldgate east stasjon. Er en del spise steder i gangavstand fra hotellet. Bank. Trosamfunn. Butikker. Ja det meste du trenger er her men når vi snakker 100 meter da kanskje ikke mine favoritt spise steder. Ok en pizza restaurant var der. Rommet var stort og fint. Bra dusj. Meget bra renhold. Når du hengte ut bamsen med DONT disturb så ble det respektert 100 %. Bygge arbeid rundt hotellet men for egen del med dårlig sove hjerte sov jeg som en prins. Spiste middag på hotellet da dem hadde utvalg nok for meg. Er ikke frokost menneske men det kunne vel fikses. Hyggelig betjening. Super wifi linje. 100 tv kanaler minst. Gratis kaffe og te maskin i gangen der jeg bodde. Meget god seng etter mitt ønske. Safe. Burde kanskje vært klesskap men kanskje ikke plass til. Klesstativ for jakker dog. Noe fancy stativ eg helt ikke skjønte ka var for i tre. Du hører kjøretøy i utrykning hele døgnet men må forventes i en så stor by. Kule notiser og nye hver dag i heisen som gjorde at du dro på smile båndet. Stort utvalg i baren. Kan trygt anbefale dette hotellet.

Cool and practical hotel
Cool and practical hotel with all the comforts you need for a weekend in London. The room has a modern and compact design, excellent shower and an extra sofa that makes it more like a private home than a hotel. We experienced a bit of slow service in the restaurant, but the food was good, so all in all quite ok.

En stor oversskelse
Har bodd på hotell i dette området flere ganger før. Stamhotellet ble for dyrt denne gang og valget falt på dette. Det ble en svært positiv overraskelse. Kort avstand til Aldgate East(underground)Brick Lane og Shoreditch. Flott ingangsområde med sofaer, bar, matservering. Spiste ikke der, så kan ikke si noe om maten. Fint rom, lite støy og veldig god seng. Kaffemaskin i gangen. Grønn profil! Fokus på gjenbruk, strøm og vann. Suverent!

The building next door is being renovated. Terrible noise. Front desk was only interested in selling me their restaurant. And this room was just too small/bed too big, and with no chair, desk, shelf or anything. Safe on the floor. Should have a warning when booking, «great for tiny people under 30».

Gjennomført stilig hotell med svært vennlig og hjelpsom betjening. Veldig bra frokost/brunch, og gode drinker i hyggelig atmosfære i resepsjonen/restaurant/bar-området. Essensielle mangler på rom; ikke nattbord, ikke mulighet for stryking, ikke knagger/klesskap, ikke toalettbørste, eller helfigurs-speil der det var mulig å bruke det. Det var heller ikke vindu på rommet som begrenset lysten på å oppholde seg der mer enn nødvendig. Sengetøy og håndklær ble skiftet hver dag, men søppel ble ikke tømt eller annen enkel rydding ble heller ikke gjennomført.

Albergo molto carino, moderno con arredi in materiale reciclato. Colazione ottima. Posizione molto comoda a pochi passi dalla Metropolitana. Unico lato negativo la cena, non per quanto riguarda il cibo che anzi consiglio perchè ottimo ma per il servizio veramente pessimo: abbiamo aspettato più di un'ora con dei bambini per vedere soddisfatto il nostro ordine, non avevano a disposizione bevande come coca cola o altro e invece di una limonata mi hanno servito della soda con del limone (ci siamo sentiti presi in giro). Purtroppo questo punto a sfavore non mi dà modo di consigliarlo appieno. Peccato.

Ich bin nur für eine Nacht geblieben und habe auch nicht dort gegessen- dazu also keine Bewertung. Das Hotel bietet einen Self-Check in an, aber der hatte nicht funktioniert. Das Personal war aber sehr freundlich, Gepäck abgeben an an- und abreisetag ging problemlos. Die Lobby ist schön und freundlich eingerichtet, das Zimmer selber hat mir persönlich von der Einrichtung her weniger gefallen, obwohl die Idee des Recyclings schön ist. Aber irgendwie nicht so umgesetzt, dass es einen Gemütlichkeitsfaktor hat. Man bekommt jedoch was man online sieht- also keine böse Überraschung. Das Hotel ist aber sauber, recht zentral gelegen , mit gutem Restaurants und Tube direkt in der Nähe- dafür was der Preis für Londoner Verhältnisse in Ordnung! Was mich gestört hat war der Lärm sehr früh morgens und die hellhörigkeit. Hatte jedoch auch ein Zimmer im Erdgeschoss zum Hof, wo scheinbar um 4 Uhr morgens bereits die Müllabfuhr kam. Auch wenn jemand duscht oder die Toilette nutzt hörte man es gut. Mit Ohrstöpseln sicher machbar oder wenn man weniger empfindlich ist. Für den Preis kann man das mal machen , für mich persönlich wäre es nur für ganz kurze Aufenthalte eine Option, da mir im Zimmer doch der wohlfühlfaktor etwas gefehlt hat.

Ok but avoid the basement rooms if you can
It was ok. I have stayed in the windowless rooms before and it's been fine but on this occasion the room was in the basement which had kind of damp smell which wasn't very pleasant. Room was otherwise ok though

Very modern, clean, arty, and environmentally conscious. Perfectly clean. Lovely welcoming staff. A few mins only from the tube station. Local are has lots of cafes and restaurants.
