Flott hotell, fin beliggenhet, hyggelige ansatte!
Booket hotellet for en langweekend med kjæresten. Veldig koselig hotell, moderne men samtidig beholdt den gamle/tradisjonelle «looken». Kjempekoselige ansatte, både i resepsjonen og i frokostsalen, og ikke minst housekeeping. Ryddig og rent, god frokost. Veldig fin beliggenhet, kort vei til buss og bane, samtidig som at det er et stille og rolig område rundt. Vil absolutt anbefale hotellet til andre!

Nice hotel in London City
From the minute you walk into the hotel you feel welcome. The doorman opens the door and your luggage is taken to your room. But- I think the check in itself is pretty slow. If there are a couple of guests infront of you you will have to wait a while. I don´t understand this as the hotel has all the information before you step into the hotel. I wish the area next to the reception could be better lighted. There are newspapers and magazines there, but the light makes it almost impossible to read. As a scandinavian- I find it kind of awkward to have a porter carry your suitcase to your room when it only weighs like 5 kg and I can carry it with one finger (seriously, my finger is really that strong). Other than this: thumbs up for this hotel.

This hotel is fine. Is it a 5 star hotel? Absolutely not. In that regard the decor, facilities and amenities were very lacking. They should reconsider their star rating as to manage expectations.

Tucked into the city of London, immediately bext to the Barbican, this has been a pleasant place to stay. Checkin was speedy and the room clean, spacious and functional. The bathroom was huge with a large walk-in shower. The room quiet at night, being away from the road. The only downside is finding Nescafe sachets as a coffee substitute in the room. However, real coffee us plentiful a short walk away.

Good location and quiet area. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room comfortable and well equipped although some minor issues (usb socket and shower controls both didn’t work properly but were inconveniences more than problems). The problem we did have (original room smelling of cigarette smoke) was dealt with promptly and efficiently by providing us with a new (and bigger) room. Overall a pleasant stay and would return again.

This is a great location particularly since the opening of the Elizabeth Line. It’s quiet and quite residential but is only a short hop to the West End. The only drawback is that, for some reason, I was unable to charge my bar bill to my room which I could do the last time we stayed.

Weekend away
Great location as a short walk from the tube station - easy links to Elizabeth Line and Metro line. Room was spacious with fruit and water. Staff were extremely helpful and would highly recommend a stay here for business or pleasure.

Comfortable & Great Service, if a little dated
The staff were great, and the service was quick. Parts of the hotel are starting to look a little dated or in need of attention. When we arrived at our room none of the sockets were working, someone arrived at our room to inspect it and was unable to resolve immediately, they returned and fixed them whilst we were out for dinner. Overall the hotel was generally clean, and staff friendly, and the building itself looks great. Bed was comfortable, and room provided all the essential amenities.

When we checked in there was no offer of breakfast or facilities within hotel. It was a ‘here is your room key’ and that was it. We discovered a used contact lense in the bed, however the bathroom was nice.
