Sjarmerende hotell
Sjarmerende hotell på utsiden, og veldig flott innredet på innsiden. Rene og freshe rom, og en veldig god italiensk restaurant på hotellet. Med litt gode sko kan man også gå inn til gamlebyen.

Perfekt beliggenhet, veldig små rom for småbarnsfamilier. Kunne gjerne vært et lite sted på hotellet med leker, så barn kan leke. Frokost er dyrt i forhold til hva man får. personalet er veldig hyggelig

Litt trange rom men bra standard. Etter 2 netter med bil parkering får vi xtra regning på hele 74 euro pga turist tax og bil parkering. Veldig skuffet.

OK with compromises
The hotel was ok at first sight, but as we were staying there for 4 nights, flaws begun to annoy us. The major drawback was bad isolation, so that you could hear noise (trams and traffic) and it was a little bit cold, or draft, while central heating didn't work well. We haven't try to switch the room, because it would take us time that we were planning to spend in the city. They offered us a heater and the room was warmer after that, but as soon as you switch it off, you can feel the draft again. Daily cleaning of the room was completely ok, but we felt that the carpet stinks and the room needs general cleansing and not just daily maintenance. So, you have to bring your own slippers for the room. Coffee kettle worked, but you had to hold the button in on position until water boiled, but this is not a big deal. The bathroom was modern and clean, but the minor drawback is low pressure in the shower and the floor didn't have angle or heating so that the water disappear after you are done with showering. Breakfast and restaurant were very good. We are also very satisfied with personnel. They were very helpful and nice to us.

Vi hadde et opphold i 3 netter. God folk på resepsjonen. Området føler trygg og familievennlig. Trikk,Tbane og tog stasjoner er veldig nært til hotellet.

Fint, fredelig område like ved Oosterpark. Parktisk med tog fra Schiphol til Muiderpoort stasjon (via Centraal) hver 30. min. + 5 min. spasertur. Lett å ta seg til sentrum eller museumsområdet med trikken som går ofte. Flere spennende spisesteder i nærheten

It was clear from our room’s arrangement that it was an old operating room, complete with a window in the wall between the shower/bath and the main part of the room (this was not shown in the website photos). The toilet was in a separate closet-sized room next to the shower/bath. Surfaces were not clean upon arrival (visible smudges and fingerprints on the black and stainless steel surfaces), and a previous guest’s milk and yogurt were in our mini fridge. Our room did have a cute little patio outside though. The location is close to a tram stop, but 15-20 min by public transport to most attractions so best for guests that feel comfortable getting around on Amsterdam public transport.

Hotel building looks nice, though not as in the pictures. Staff is very polite and trying to help, but I needed to ask for an invoice three times. Hotel is 45 minutes walking from the city center. It is very well connected by tram (one tram station is in front of the hotel and other one behind the corner) and train since Muiderpoort train station is 5 minutes away. We booked superior king room, but I didn't recognize anything superior in it. Namely, bed was very uncomfortable, in fact it was two single beds connected, and there was huge dent at the connection. There were much mold in the shower cabin. Chair in the room was full of hairs, like from the dog or something. Out of 4 days of staying there corridors on the second floor smelled on some food for 3 days. All in all we paid more for some comfort, but didn't get it.

My second stay but it wasn't as good as the first. The room was right at the back, air con didn't work properly even though they were supposed to have fixed it, so it was really warm during the night. The Restaurant had changed, I know they have a popup restaurantsand i like the ethos but itwasnt as good as previous time I was there.

What a lovely hotel! We arrived early morning and the amazing staff was nice to check us in before the afternoon. Reception staff were very polite, friendly and professional. We had a room with a terrace as we were upgraded. The room & bathroom were of a good size, we liked the high ceiling, the terrace was great! The only reason why I didn't put 5* is because we felt that the mattress was too soft, otherwise everything else was perfect!! The hotel is 2 tram stops from the Zoo, 20 minutes ride from central station. Trams are outside and round the corner from the hotel. ' 100' We would definitely reccomend this hotel! Thank you.

All was good, nice clean rooms Stayed there 10 days - good location plenty transportation options to town Two issues - one is the cleaning staff seemed forgetful - didn't replace the towels one day and didn't resupply a water bottle on another day - the other was when I ordered a taxi they supplied one but didn't mention that their minumum charge was 20 euros, so taking an Uber would have been cheaper, so I never used their taxi's again

Overall the hotel itself was good. I gave 4 stars due to 2 main reasons: 1) Restaurant/bar closed before 11pm and 2) the rubber mat in front of the door is incredibly unsafe. I almost tripped on the way in and then my luggage got stuck on the way out and I DID fall and broke a rib...

Easy walk to Muiderpoort station with quick access to central Amsterdam and other cities, though there are good bars and restaurants nearby. Cool old building, rooms were more spacious that most in Amsterdam, and it was very clean.
