Shamelessly expensive!
The INK hotel is fine, has a fine location, good breakfast and it altoogether nice. HOWEVER, exploiting prices due to IBC 2022 is not nice - the hotel was completely overpriced in comparison to other times of the year. The price was shameless!

I am pleased to read that you appreciated our nice atmosphere here in the hotel. I am sorry to hear however that not everything was in order during your stay. In particular with regards to the air conditioning and noise disruption. Here at INK we operate with a climate control system, which is dictated by the current outside temperature and cools the room to a minimum of 18 degrees or warmer. And as we are located in the heart of the historic city centre of Amsterdam, it can occasionally be quite noisy at times, and thus lead to disruption. Nice common areas, but dissatisfied with the room
We think that the common areas were fine, but the room was in a bad condition and not well thought through. There were several different styles, making the overall impression very messy. The painting on the floor was peeled of some places, making the floor look dirty. The toilet door was in frosted glass and did not properly close. The general impression was of bad quality.

Stayed 2 nights together with my wife. Central location. Nice welcome by English speaking personnel. The room we got, was extremely small compared to the relatively high price. No sound isolation whatsoever between the bathroom and the rest of the room. Breakfast at €22,50 is too costly. Chose to eat in a nearby restaurant instead. Free wifi worked good.

We do offer rooms with closed bathrooms, and room categories that are more spacious. We wish we had known about you preferences beforehand, as we would have happily assisted you in finding a room that better fits your needs. En kjekk opplevelse
Et vannvittig bra hotell med god service. Veggene på rommet er dekorert med et svart/hvitt kart av Amsterdam med hotellets anbefalinger og det er skrevet på en humoristisk måte. God seng, rommet kunne vært litt større, lys tette gardiner, det ligger rett ved en hovedvei så litt hører man. Baren hadde masse spennende å by på. Ligger rett ved sentrumskjernen av Amsterdam så en kan gå til alt.

The hotel staff were courteous and welcoming. Several members of the staff provided recommendations on entertainment and local bars. They arranged a taxi for me to the airport at check out. Overall. I will definitely comeback and book another stay!
