«We had a great time in the Decca- the former radio navigation station in the very northwest of the Isle of Lewis. It is just some steps of the Butt of Lewis, where there is an amazing landscape with a lot of beautiful sheep.»

«We loved our stay at Ridge Edge Cottage! The neighbors (and their dog) were wonderful and it was so fun to live among the locals for a few nights. You have everything you need here including a washing machine (no dryer). The dishes were not all clean in the cabinet but that was an easy fix with the dish soap provided. It is quite far from Portree (45-60 minutes) but well worth the drive. »

«The cottage was very comfortable with everything we needed. The location was amazing with easy walking to village center. Great local craft show on Tuesdays, the Glendale Village Shop had wonderful local foods, and we could watch seals and otters along the coast of The Little Minch. Easy drives to many great sites on the isle. Great place to stay!»

A very well equipped neat homely cottage with everything you could possibly wish for. Especially if you like cooking from scratch.»

«Unser Urlaub war herrlich, Das Haus war super sauber und sehr liebevoll eingerichtet (zum Beispiel selbst aufgenommene Fotos der Region, sehr passend und stimmig). Die Lage ist unbeschreiblich, morgens weckt einen (wenn man die Vorhänge nicht zu zieht) der Sonnenaufgang über der Bucht. Die Lage in Südlewis erscheint uns allen als Beste auf der ganzen Insel, Grade die Bucht von Uig ist wunderschön, nur ein richtiger Pub hat gefehlt. Übrigens war dies der erste Urlaub, bei dem ich weinen müsste, ...
