«Lovely property and very well equipped »

«Wildgoose Cottage was a fabulous, away from it all break. The only noise we heard was nature, cows, pheasant and lots of birds. We were lucky to see a deer with a fawn and boxing hares. This is a very relaxing place to stay but a good 45 minutes walk to the centre of Whitby either along the road or the Cleveland Way.»

«Outside of York, which we liked. A bit too far to walk with luggage but the #9 bus is close and a quick way to get to town centre. The apartment is really clean and beautifully decorated. Comfortable beds. The snacks and milk etc. provided by hosts was wonderful. Bathroom is downstairs from bedrooms which isn’t fun at night, but otherwise perfect!»

«Long weekend stay but not long enough. Cottage in a great place for visiting the area. Kids and dogs loved it. Met the alpacas close up.»

«This wasnt our first time staying in Sewerby but it was our first time at Oyster Cottage..... I can confidently say, it will not be our last.. Sue was great, coms before, during and after our stay were fab. The cottage itself is well situated, very well presented and spotlessly clean with a fantastic private outdoor secure garden to boot. «The location is fabulous, the apartment is fantastic and amenities great. The beds were not great, very uncomfortable. They advertise luggage storage and before we checked in they stored our luggage and then took it to our room when the room was ready, that was awesome, but when we asked for luggage storage on our check out we were told we would have to pay. Staff were very friendly and helpful.»
