«We stayed at the cabin in Nov 2023. And had a wonderful time. What made the trip so memorable was getting recommendations from the owner Amy when she came to the cabin stoking the outside heater that piped in heat to cabin. Cannot over emphasize the need to do research on places to explore while there, because this cabin is in a very rural area. Amy's recommendations on where we should visit meant everything. «It was a lovely place. My only complaint was that the walls are pretty thin and was really noisy with a family next door. We would like to visit again when the weather is warmer and we can enjoy more of the amenities. We particularly enjoyed the breakfast buffet and view of the James River. »
