Clean hotel with nice staff
Easy checkin with friendly staff. Good cleaning. If you want the breakfast buffet I advise you to order together with the booking. I didn't and paid for it in the reception instead which led to some mixup. Every morning the staff at the buffet kept telling me I hadn't paid and I had to explain to them that I already paid, and when I checked out they wanted me to pay again. I explained the situation and they apologized but it was kind of tiring to keep explaining the same situation over and over to different members of staff. I guess they should improve their system to avoid this in the future. Other than that it was a good hotel.

Perfectly placed for the Valencia marathon
Stayed at the Barcelo for the Valencia Marathon and for that purpose the hotel is perfectly placed. Having said that, I had a room on the 2nd floor towards Placa d'Europa, which has heavy traffic around the clock, so the room was rather noisy. The room was also very hot and I don't believ the AC was very efficient (needless to say it was not possible to sleep with window open). The breafkast buffet was fantastic. Delicate looking, lot of choices and was and continously refilled so I never saw anything missing. Staff was in general very friendly. If I was to stay here again I would try to ensure that I didn't have a room in that direction.

Stayed 3 nights and would definitely come back
I had an amazing time with my girlfriend in Valencia. The hotel employees were very nice and the room (junior suite) was very nice with an amazing view. I have nothing bad to say about the hotel, room or the local area. The also let us check out at 5pm for just 30 euros extra as hour flight was late during the day, something that made it easier to have another day at the beach while still having a hotel room. Perfect area for running!

Personeel aan de receptie, zaal, poetsdienst heel vriendelijk. Uitzonderlijk heerlijk ontbijt. Goede ligging aan openbaar vervoer. Heel slechte geluidsisolate waardoor je werkelijk alles op de gang kon horen. Niet zo leuk als er een bende leukerds beslist om door te feesten op de gang. Geen gekende openingsuren van de roofbar waardoor er willekeurig beslist werd door een security agent wanneer je moet opstappen. Zo werden we gevraagd om meteen de bar te verlaten omdat ze gingen sluiten, we mochten ons drankje overgieten in een plastic beker om mee te nemen....
