«We were welcomed warmly by the hosts. They showed us through the unit, explained how everything worked and made sure we were settled. The unit was very well presented, very clean and offered many comforts from the warm gas heater to the electric blankets on the beds. The kitchen was well appointed. We had a very comfortable stay. If and when we return to Tassie and need accommodation near Mountain River we would definitely stay again. Thank you.»

«This was a great place to use as a base for our 6 day stay in Launceston. very centrally located. Handy to IGA and Woolies. We like to shop locally then mainly do our own cooking so the really well-equipped kitchen set up was ideal for us. (Maybe some instructions on the use of the microwave + a Microwave safe dish or two for reheating, cooking veggies etc. We bought a DECOR one, suited us just fine.) «Dog friendly, and great location. However you may need to be aware that the access to main living space is up 14 wooden stairs. We had to teach our to go up and down, slowly. I would imagine some older people having difficulty with this too.»

«Location is ideal for swimming, beach walks or head off for the day exploring bush walks. Our four night stay was wonderful. «We only stayed for 2 nights and the weather/our travel plans prevented us exploring the area but Stones throw was a perfect spot to relax in front of the fire with family listening to the storms and winds battering the coastline.
