I booked in December for college graduation in May. They canceled my reservation two weeks before graduation which really put me in a bind because every hotel was fully booked by then.

Upon arrival, were told we may lose power or water due to "pipe breaking" yet building under construction. Told we were contacted to inform of such inadvance--we were not! Staff argued to say they did and left vm, I have no vm on that line. Staff wanted me to sign two separate statements, both listing one of the two rooms reserved. Argued when asked for proper receipts to reflect 2 separate rooms. Charges/rates listed differed for two rooms reserved, at the same time. First room reaked of smoke. When asked for different room, told there were none available, yet 5 mins before we were given choice of floor/rooms. While the room was newly renovated and ok, the outside of the property was in very poor condition and neglected. Pool dirty, one louge chair and all chairs torn and tattered. Construction workers began talking/working 5a.m. Staff outside our room (one of very few rooms occupied) yelling into speaker phone at 8a.m. When asked to stop and complained of noise, staff wanting to blame construction crew for all, not accepting responsibility for own actions.

For a whole week they had no working beverage dispensers during breakfast, the waffle maker was broken, their premade coffee was terrible, and the smell of weed filled the place

The property was quiet and clean. It was a little run down, however. The air conditioning in our room did not work. Thankfully the temperature outside was mild enough that it was not an issue. Most of the breakfast items were not available (drink machines weren't working) and by the time we got there at 8:30 am (breakfast ends at 9:00) they had stopped restocking so there was no fresh coffee and very little batter left to make a waffle. If you stay here and want a breakfast, get in early because it will be gone and won't be restocked. We made it through the night OK, but I will not be staying at this hotel again in the future.

The room was not cleaned well. The refrigerator, lamp, phone, and air conditioner didn’t work. I asked to move to a different room and even though it was supposed to be non smoking, it reeked of cigarettes. A maintenance person came to the original room and got the lamp and refrigerator working. Breakfast was a joke. Overall terrible experience and will never stay there again.

The hotel staff was challenging to understand on checking and was frustrated when I asked him to repeat himself. Upon arriving at the room we found a ceiling falling into the room, mold growth on the walls, and bedding covered in stains. The hotel is in need of major work and cleaning. I am beyond disappointed at this stay and highly suggest no one consider ever staying here!

We’ve stayed at this property twice now. This was the final straw. The workout room is ridiculous-the equipment does not work well or doesn’t work at all. We stopped in for the continental breakfast. It was 8:20. First my husband was told that items would not be replenished because breakfast was almost over. Then when I went to the front desk to checkout and I asked what time breakfast was done, I was told 9 am. I asked why items were not replenished when we asked and was told they were low on supplies. Seems like they use whatever excuse is convenient.

As I sent to you in a chat the day I was to check in, it was a dilapidated mess - NOTHING like your pictures - with an obvious solicitation being conducted through a car window at what was once the drive-up at the front door, AND I SAID I WANTED TO CANCEL MY RESERVATION. Booked for a GSU function and only available motel/hotel in area. We got there later in the evening with an early morning wake up call so we weren’t there for very long, luckily. We paid $128 and I can only assume that it was only increased as all the other motels/hotels were sold out. Would not recommend this motel unless you are only staying for a night and they are charging their normal price of $63 a night. The only positives that I have: The staff at the front desk were professional and polite and the linens on the bed smelled clean. It was hard to know where entrance to the office was so we drove around to the back and almost decided to leave immediately, but we thought possibly they were doing renovations, and that would explain the rundown trashed look of the grounds. We had a non smoking suite with a king size bed. Unfortunately, I don’t know if was because the walls are thin but the room still smelled like stale cigarettes. That wasn’t the worst of it. The mirror that was placed behind the TV looked like somebody hadn’t cleaned it in months and I don’t know what was all over it but I’ll leave it to your imagination. The bathroom toilet was dingy looking and the bottom of the toilet looked like it was covered in urine stains with hair. It was not clean at all. The floor was dirty in the bathroom. The walls stained or chipped throughout the room.

The exterior appearance seems that it needs a face lift. The interior of our room (115) needed updating/repairs. There is evidence of water leaking in the ceiling and mold growth over the entrance door.

The front door was located behold a boarded up bar and the front desk attended did not seem like he wanted to be there. When I reminded him I had booked a handicap room, he informed me that they only had one and someone was living in that room so noone could rent it. He then gave me a room on the first floor at least. When I entered the room and turned on the lights, no less than 6 roaches ran across the floor and bed. We left immediately and I demanded a full refund. The clerk said it was a common issue. We were forced to pay double to find another room on such short notice.

Read some really bad reviews after I booked here but was really surprised, the hotel is a little tired but clean and comfortable, had no issues at all with the place.

A horrible experience.
This motel is excessively dirty & poorly managed. There was trash all over the grounds, the "restaurant" was a dark room that clearly hasn't been used for some time. The building itself is so run down I can't understand why is hasn't been forced to close. Spend a few more dollars and find a place that at least has all of the lights working.

It is obvious that management just doesn't care. Our room was dirty, the ceiling in the shower was water stained and peeling from a water leak, the baseboards were all chewed up and filthy. We had a king suite for 3 people and had to go back to the office to get bedding for the sleeper sofa and the guy got all sparky because we asked for the bedding. The lamp shade was torn and yellowing with age. The last straw that made us leave a day early was the roach that decided to mosey across the bathroom floor. When I went to turn in my keys, there was no one at the front desk. After waiting and calling out hello, and no one showing up, I just left my keys on the desk and left. There was absolutely no quality with this quality inn.

The room smelled like pot. The property seemed run down. You could tell they were working on improvements / upgrades, but still not up to par. The mattress was comfortable.

"CUSTOMER BEWARE" this hotel is unsafe I stayed here with good intentions because I was in town for my son's football game. The hotel is infested with roaches and bugs. Roaches crawling everywhere in my room. I went to call the manager and a roach came out the phone.. The manager came to my room with a bug can as to them knowing roaches are running high in their hotel he kept insisting he would give me my money back, but this was 12:30 in the morning where was I going all other hotels were booked..I couldn't sleep because my anxiety was high and woke up to roaches on the walls and dressers, and bitten all on my arms and legs, I'm assuming they were bed bugs in the bed. I would show pictures but there is nothing here for me to download the pics here. I'm contacting an attorney because there should be no reason a customer should endure this filth."DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL..You get what you pay for and do listen to the other review!!
